Art London 7 - 11 October, by craigf on Oct 10, 2010 17:09:39 GMT 1, Not sure if any other forumites have been this weekend and there is only on day to go, but I thought I'd feedback what a good show it is. I got tickets from Sacked (big thanks) and drove into town today in the glorious sunshine. The show had a wide range of artists and really opened my eyes to some artists I had never seen before. Stand outs for me were Chuck Elliot, David Farrer and Jonty Hurwitz. There were some firm favourites from the board including a Banksy canvas (will post a piccie later), Peter Blake, the odd Hirst etc. There was also an artist called Willy Rojas, who does a similar sort of thing to Slinkachu. If anyone is in town tomorrow and has a spare few hours I'd recommend popping down to chelsea and having a look ;D

Art London 7 - 11 October, by Deleted on Oct 10, 2010 17:16:14 GMT 1, nice review, good to hear about willy rojas, saw his work last year and thought he had some very smart ideas. Will look after some of the names you've mentioned that I'm not familiar with!

Art London 7 - 11 October, by andrewd on Oct 10, 2010 17:54:37 GMT 1, I got some free tickets and had as look on Thursday. Not too much there, lots of park railing stuff but as mentioned above a few familiar artists. Speaking of Peter Blake I saw a lion statue that he'd decorated this weekend. "Graffiti Lion" I'll try and post some pics.
