Stephen Fry on language, by Coach on Aug 17, 2010 0:22:28 GMT 1, For Fry fans, a beautifully written essay on the development of language, and the idiocy of pedants who decry lowering standards and change.
Relevence here? Apart from being a bloody good read, there is a (imo) funny Banksy reference towards the end.

Stephen Fry on language, by Passion Art on Aug 18, 2010 1:31:14 GMT 1, It's clear that he's an incredibly intelligent guy but is no one else annoyed at the fact that he always uses three or four adjectives or adverbs in a row to describe the same thing? It's as if he wants to show all the words he knows.
