TB&TC '10' - Remi/Rough, Hutch, T*wat & more!, by Agent Provocateur on May 4, 2010 11:42:40 GMT 1, Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but ye olde 'Wet Pain Productions' have organised the second TB&TC event at the Brighton Fringe Festival this weekend. Last years was great with the Brighton Youth Club getting a wall to wall paint job.
Here's the link to get any updates as and when they happen www.wetpaintproductions.co.uk.
This year the organisers have managed to secure several spots all over Brighton for some serious painting, the artists list on their blog is quite impressive as well:
Avian Security, Balrog, Blam, Celestial Pilot, Cosmo Sarson, Dan Kitchener, DBO Ponders, Delete, Don, Estum, Eye โ Saw, Fark FK, Foundry, Funky Red Dog, Hop Louie, Hutch, imbue, Inketish, Is This You?, JENKINS, Julian Kimmings. Kev Munday. Leeks, Limbo, Mishfit, MNKY, Nol, Osh 1, Parkers, Paulo Nine-o, Pinky, Please Flush, Remi/Rough, Shuby, Sinna 1, Smug One. Snik, SNUB 23, SPQR, Stickee, System, T.WAT and Vodker
The event gets going this Friday (7 May) at 8.00pm with a private view of work by lots of the TB&TC artists. It's at the 'Muse Room & Merkabar Lounge', My Hotel in Brighton.
Here's the flyer for the actual weekend.
There are going to be three TB&TC limited edition t-shirts by Snub, Hutch and Funky RedDog available over the weekend, here's some photos and their blurb about how you can get them.
'Here are the TB&TC Tee-shirts which will be on sale to raise money for our charity of choice, Shelter. Designed by SNUB 23, Hutch and Funky Red Dog, and printed on finest Fruit of the Loom shmutter, they will be on sale at the TB&TC pop-up gallery at Myhotel on 8/9 May. Limited to 50 of each they are a steal at just ยฃ15 each, with ยฃ10 from every sale going directly to Shelter. If you canโt wait until the show then get over to the Shelter shop on Western Road where they have an advanced consignment of just 30. They wonโt be there for long.'
Mmm think that's it, better get cutting now!

TB&TC '10' - Remi/Rough, Hutch, T*wat & more!, by Agent Provocateur on May 10, 2010 14:31:37 GMT 1, Having never built scaffolding before there was much amusement before we even got started. It held together tho and nobody fell off, although falling scalpel blades and wind blown cans were an ever present hazard!
I have some more pics of gob smacking graffiti around Brighton, will post when I get a chance.
Silky, if this thread's in the wrong place feel free to move it.
