"Outrage as Charles Bronson’s artwork is displayed on Tube"
A drawing by convicted criminal Charles Bronson has gone on display at Angel Tube station.
Bronson, 58, was jailed for armed robbery in 1974 and became one of the country's most dangerous prisoners.
The artwork, which depicts a head with three faces poking out of a straitjacket, has shocked victims' charities. It was put on display on Monday by Art Below, which displays art on the Tube.
Art Below's creator Benjamin Moore came into contact with Bronson through mutual friend Tom Hardy, the actor who played the criminal in the 2009 film Bronson, which is based loosely on the prisoner's life. The piece will be displayed at the station for two weeks.
Mr Moore said: “There's a lot of madness and sadness in his work but what struck me was the humour. You'll never see any artwork like it.” But a spokesman for the National Victims' Association said: “I would say that the overwhelming majority of victims of crime will be astonished and thoroughly depressed.”

Yet TFL banned the Massive Attack artwork for their last album? Still Bronson's infamy comes from his antics in prison rather than him being a serial killer so seems like a fuss over nothing - all he did, initially was hold up a Post Office with a gun.
