Hemway Industries - My experience with them, by gozgoz on Feb 12, 2010 1:06:15 GMT 1, I feel I need to warn people or at least let pple know my experiences with dealing with them so pple can make nformed choices abt dealing with them in the future.
A lot of you would have known what has happened to my debacle with Hemway Industries re: the Choe Haiti Girl print.
I wont repeat myself again so you can read it here:

After we had a heated argument with Aaron the dude at Hemway, he said he would do all he can to help and knows my frustrations and that his hands are tied.
Anyways, I managed to find a print via Cadeallaw from lightyears2010.
Here's the real clincher which really takes this whole debacle with hemway to a new level.
Check this:
Lightyear2010 then told me why not tell Hemway that he has sold it to me for cost - then he can ship it directly to me and my friend - ie two prints and save everyone shipping and hassle.
I tell Hemway that, send Hemway Lightyear's confirmation email etc etc
Hemway replies (surprise surprise): No. We can only send it to the submitted address.
Lightyear himself sends anauthorisation email to send it to me. But no go amigo. Hemway wasnt having any of it - citing something about "keep our shipments in line with precisely what was received."
It almost seems like he is going out of his way to be strangely difficult. I dont get it. What if Lightyear was moving house? or wanted it sent to his work place? Its crazy being so inflexible no?
I dunno.
First I get screwed for a mistake Hemway made.
Second I get screwed because of some rigid shipping rules.
This really is ridiculous. Am I being unreasonable here?
Suffice to say, I am almost certainly never buying from them ever again.
This is all my own personal subjective opinion of course. Im sure some of you have pleasant experiences and all but i guess i just wasnt one of them.
