Help need from Mac users, by grafik on Jan 13, 2010 11:34:01 GMT 1, right lets start at the beginning.
are you connecting to your airport BS using the g4 airport, or via LAN?
i presume wireless so you need to connect something to it (wirelessly or lan) and go on airport utility and have a look at the settings on there. make sure they are all correct.

Help need from Mac users, by buddings on Jan 13, 2010 12:20:27 GMT 1, try pressing a button on your router, there may be one which is for pairing a new device. then enter the password straight after and hit enter. i had this problem using a wannadoo livebox. might be the same type of thing.

Help need from Mac users, by mj on Jan 13, 2010 13:27:07 GMT 1, Thanks a lot guys, I have checked all the settings and all looks ok. I forgot to mention that my wireless is working with my new macbook, all I wanted to do was to clean the hard drive of my old G4 and setting up everthing so my son could use it.
The wireless router was original set up with the G4, do you think I need to connect the network cable to the router ? thanks
