How Refreshing!, by Mister Frame Man on Aug 14, 2009 12:13:17 GMT 1, These are images I received today from a forum member -
How refreshing it is to see a gallery advising people how to look after their artwork. We see no end of prints come through with small "finger dinks" caused by excited buyers desperate to take a look at their print that they have been waiting weeks for.
With the exception of BRP, most galleries and publishers seem to not really care what happens to the artwork once it has left their premises!
Good work!

Get it over for framing and I guess I will!
Failing that, images would be great.

How Refreshing!, by Heavyconsumer on Aug 14, 2009 12:58:49 GMT 1, I guess POW have finally seen the light. (better late then never) Maybe they got sick of having to replace so many prints. Whatever the reason, it's great news.

Hi Goz, I wasn't aware that you're able to purchase directly from KaiKai KiKi? For a while I thought they only dealt with galleries?

Oops, I wasn't even aware they dealt with the general public (Japanese or not). Guess I just learnt something new! Probably worth a visit if I ever visit Japan.

How Refreshing!, by Bram on Aug 14, 2009 13:55:53 GMT 1, The Donut I got this week from POW was double tubed with a foam protection around the inner tube PLUS one around the print. Probably the best packed print I have ever had (with the exception of Beejoir's Blurry Mary)

Please don't tell em POW managed to get an even smaller tube inside their already small tube? ;D
I wouldn't know because I didn't get one!
Now for all you lucky people, if you are intending on having your print framed (I guess even if you are not) please do resist taking the print from the tube, re rolling, taking it out to show your mate, re rolling, having another little look before you go to bed, re rolling, checking it is still there in the morning, re rolling etc.
Every time that print is taken out, it will have more and more "dinks" & "roll lines" across it.
Best get it framed I think!!!
