New sculpture release, by low3 on Mar 31, 2009 22:22:02 GMT 1, Quite like that, although i think some of the effect is lost on a desk top version.
The best bit on the original was the scale of the thing, and the fact it was interacting with an everyday piece of street furniture.
Best of luck with these though Leigh!!

New sculpture release, by Tunnadine on Mar 31, 2009 22:53:06 GMT 1, Thanks
I agree, however IMO the same goes for any piece of street work translated onto paper as a print etc but if the viewer is passionate about an artists work it's definatley a great momento for street piece no longer in existence. These pieces are hand made, signed and numbered by Leon himself - bonus!!
Check out his current unveiling 'True Yank': www.urbis.org.uk/page.asp?id=3280

New sculpture release, by wiz on Mar 31, 2009 22:54:06 GMT 1, Fair enough, if i think of it as a memento / reminder of the original work then it seems to work better.

New sculpture release, by slowmo on Apr 1, 2009 22:31:09 GMT 1, One of the saddest things about street art on this scale is so few get to enjoy it, especially in 2004. I would have loved to have seen that, but in order to do so, even in a city like London, well you would be looking at putting up 200-300+ up at that time. Done now, you would be on blogs, forums, websites etc.
