A friend posted a bunch of interesting photos of the Fun Gallery in the 80's on facebook, which got me interested and I've started doing some research.
I found this interview with Patti Astor interesting, especially that she mentions the 80's graffiti art scene collapsed when the big money moved in!
Sounds like it was a really great time to be in New York.
