To celebrate the opening of the Street Art London flickr group (www.flickr.com/groups/streetartlondon/), we are running a weekly lottery of prints, original works and other donated goodies.
Each Saturday, a different artist will volunteer a work and suggest a charity which the proceeds will go to. A photograph of this work will be posted to the group and tickets will be available until the following Friday via paypal at ยฃ1 each. There will be no limit set on the amount of tickets available and each individual can purchase as many as he or she wants.
The winning ticket will be picked at random at the end each week the full proceeds will be transferred to the chosen charity.
The schedule for the next 10 weeks is as follows:
Saturday 27th December - Me (I had to go first obviously)
Saturday 3rd January - Gemma Compton
Saturday 10th January - Xylo
Saturday 17th January - Shuby
Saturday 24th January - Banksy (tickets available to group members only)
Saturday 31st January - Cake
Saturday 7th February - Paul le Chien
Saturday 14th February - Klone
Saturday 21st February - Part2ism
Saturday 28th February - T.wat

If people want I will provide the relevant link on this forum each week but I was thinking that it might be considered a little spammy.

Great idea., nice way to try and get some good work whilst helping a charity at the same time. I personally think it would be good to post on here each week, more exposure means more money for the chosen charitys

I'm also looking for a volunteer auditor. If anyone lives locally (N or NW London) and is willing to spend an hour now and then to look over my shoulder and witness that there is no financial fuckery going on, please PM me.

The first weekly lottery is now up on the group and ticket purchases are open until Friday January 2nd 2009
