FORGET FAIR Q, SCRIPTS+SOFTWARE FOR ALL?, by Heavyconsumer on Nov 22, 2008 2:54:20 GMT 1, Telsin, I'm not saying you and Ron are wrong, but I'm very unconvinced that the flippers have anything that really helps bag a print. I think that regardless of how many get refunded a good number will always end up in the hands of flippers, because many of the people after them see the prints only as a profit. We don't have to like it, but that's the way it is. No system will change that.

I really think people are using multiple email accounts and multiple computers to get more than 1 print, anyone that list 5 prints for sale, must have a helping hand. and that has to be wrong.

Hi Heavyconsumer, fair comment but any edge is better than nothing and my index finger is still hurting from yesterday

FORGET FAIR Q, SCRIPTS+SOFTWARE FOR ALL?, by arcam on Nov 22, 2008 3:19:11 GMT 1, It really pisses me off to think that people are stealing prints using software, and them flipping them to true fans. Im not a big fan of fairq, because i love a good bunfight, but only if we are all on a level playing field. F5! But they're not there is no way for people to know the print ID. Look on ebay now, there are how many there?..14? That isn't even five percent and considering we are in the worst financial crisis we've known I think POW have done a pretty good job. I honestly think they couldn't have done any better.

Call it a hunch, but I don't fancy his chances of receiving those prints. Further to that, who knows the truth? I certainly don't! What if there were 30 dudes trying as one unit to pick this up? Regarding your theory, he'd probably need to have 5 different IP Addresses too, as this can be checked by POW. Not an easy thing to do in the space of, what, 3 seconds! Like I say, no idea how he did it, but don't rule out the possibility that he's on the rob! Check out some of his feedback! You'd have to be missing a few sandwiches from the old picnic hamper to send this dude 3/4 grand imo.

FORGET FAIR Q, SCRIPTS+SOFTWARE FOR ALL?, by wildbill on Nov 22, 2008 5:52:11 GMT 1, All this ruckus based on so many assumptions....
How do you know that POW isn't on top of this? Refunds?
Didn't this all come up last release, same exact subject and people were complaining about being blacklisted.....

FORGET FAIR Q, SCRIPTS+SOFTWARE FOR ALL?, by wildbill on Nov 22, 2008 5:54:13 GMT 1, If you get a hold of this software, you better really know what you're doing because there's a good chance you'll lose your opportunity to ever buy a print from POW...
Its not even December yet........so relax, there's good things to come.
Go outside and be thankful for what you do have!

FORGET FAIR Q, SCRIPTS+SOFTWARE FOR ALL?, by klyde on Nov 22, 2008 12:29:08 GMT 1, there is a simple way of solving this POW release a 's**t in a box' on the banksy page, ยฃ1000, for chairty, no refunds, no exceptions, everyone who has a script running will automatically buy one of these, then i'd guess that would stop them for a while
I bet you would still get people on here talking about how great it is, "classic Banksy, I'm sticking it on a white box frame, I have an extra one in my basket thats I'm dropping in 30 seconds" etc etc etc.

Will be different when the prints are in hand. Probably at least 60 sold in the next few months making 20%.
Whats an acceptable time scale on this anyway? When does it stop being classified as flipping???

Would you be stating this if you had the automatic add to basket script?
Obviously not!
Its bad enough when people post "BANKSY ON SALE TODAY"!
If you get the email, keep it to yourself and hit POW asap!
Dog eat dog!
