Art ideas from press photo, by JD on May 26, 2008 21:25:17 GMT 1, I want to utilise (steal) a press photo for a picture I'm working on (home art). Thing is, when I download the photo from Google images the file is not big enough i.e. it is too pixelated when I try and expand it. How do you get around that? If thats not possibe and I had to buy the image from e.g Reuters how much would it cost me to put onto a canvas or print if commercial gain wasnt my aim? Help please

Or get the biggest you can find, display on the best quality monitor you can lay yer hands on and photograph that. Photoshop despeckle and sharpen filters work...a bit...sometimes. Or be happy with big pixels. or re paint over the big pixels in photoshop or actual paint.

Ideally you want the neg.
