Banksy from tattoo shop for sale, by displaced bear on May 20, 2008 14:52:20 GMT 1, lame seller. can't believe he won't answer the "reserve" question for whoever asked it. it does not nullify the point of putting a reserve b/c if the guy at least bids reserve it automatically goes to that bid price as opposed to starting off below reserve price.

Banksy from tattoo shop for sale, by christoffero on May 20, 2008 14:59:20 GMT 1, I agree. Sometimes people are protective of their reserves and I absolutely don't understand why. How on eartth can he lose anything by telling us what it is? Anyway, I'd love to tackle this one. Wonder what the walls made of and if it would hold together when removed.

Banksy from tattoo shop for sale, by alsbabar on May 20, 2008 15:10:21 GMT 1, looks like plasterboard - the only issue i see with this being an interior piece and so large is, how do you get it out of the place without further cutting it apart or damaging it, either way, you will devalue the piece by doing so.
It could be a very costly screw up!!!

Banksy from tattoo shop for sale, by dmandpenfold on May 20, 2008 16:49:49 GMT 1, it is plasterboard, i've seen this in the flesh and got a few pictures too, shame it's coming down.. It is huge, not sure how they will remove it without damaging it either.
Definitely a banksy and one of his earlier pieces.

Banksy from tattoo shop for sale, by skelly on May 20, 2008 20:36:23 GMT 1, I don't understand reserves, just start the item at the price you are willing to accept for it if that is an issue, otherwise let market determine

Banksy from tattoo shop for sale, by romanywg on May 20, 2008 20:43:14 GMT 1, It's easy to find the reserve. Just put in a bid for 1,000,000 and the listing will show the reserve, then just retract the bid, reason being you added too many zeros. I did this by mistake once. Bid ยฃ1,000 when I meant to bid ยฃ100 and then got in a sweat for 5 minutes until I found out the bid could be retracted.
