Finding art prices, by sputnikeye on May 15, 2008 20:14:16 GMT 1, check out www.artnet.com, do a search on david bowie and find out which galleries are selling his work and start the questioning from there.

Finding art prices, by Heavyconsumer on May 15, 2008 20:49:14 GMT 1, I can't remember the URL but I was looking at his site recently. There's loads of art on there and maybe you'll find something you feel is comparable

Definitely go to artnet.com. If you subscribe to their member search for approximately $30 a month, you get 30 searches per month and just enter the artist in any medium of your choice and can search any sale at auction going back 25 years. That function has been invaluable to me over the years in getting a feel for where the true market of different artists sit at any given time.
I just checked Bowie for you and there are only 4 hits total across all mediums.
