Places to stay and to see in south beach, by T-Bro on Apr 28, 2008 21:47:29 GMT 1, As some of yo may know i am planning a round the world trip 
I start in Miami on the 1st September, as i'm backpacking and i am look ing for a good decent cheap place to stay hotels/hostels all suggestions are welcome! we are the for 5 nights and also looking for things to see and do - any ideas?

Lots of shops and restaurants and people watching on Lincoln Rd.and Ocean Dr. Wynwood Art District is in Downtown Miami.
Rent a Jetski, scooters. For good cheap eats hit up Sandwicherie a stand on 14th & Collins, Puerto Sagua, Pizza Rustica.
Nightspots: Opium/Prive, Mokai, Shore Club, Mansion, Nikki Beach are all nice but may be hard to get into. Pawn Shop (Downtown) and Purdy Lounge are more laid back but still pretty cool.
Enjoy, South Beach is a great place to be.
