Framing Mary, by victorwilliams on Apr 14, 2008 15:22:23 GMT 1, I don't think these have been sent out yet but has anyone got any ideas on how there going to frame their Blurry Mary. I heard that back lighting will look good but how is this actually done? Also I had a look in Habitat at there glass on glass white frames, has anyone got any experience in using these, if so does it effect the print in anyway due to it being sandwiched tightly between glass?

Framing Mary, by Bram on Apr 14, 2008 15:36:19 GMT 1, If you can find the Blurry Mary thread, there is a link to some cheap light boxes. ยฃ125 which is about the same as a decent frame.

think thats the one there, a few people have used them on here before, think a grannies was framed up in one? its two pieces of glass that the print sits in, there are pushed together by a inner frame that sits in the back. If light could be shone from the back of the print some how it may look rather sweet.

Framing Mary, by Bram on Apr 14, 2008 16:49:13 GMT 1, Sounds good. Not sure if the print would come to any harm (with the lighting aspect) I am sure someone could advise.

Framing Mary, by curiousgeorge on Apr 14, 2008 20:31:44 GMT 1, From my limited knowledge/research, you could use t8 tubes to make the lightbox. You can then purchase sleeves( cheap as chips) to go over the tubes to reduce the UV rays. I think i posted some info in the other Mary thread.

I will shut my trap then! I have picked up this type of frame in Habitat and thought it was perspex, I am regularly wrong though
And this may not even be the type of frame discussed above!
