Cambridge Help, by leader999 on Mar 14, 2008 17:09:22 GMT 1, Hi Guys
Heading up to Cambridge for the weekend. pretty much sorted for Hotel and decent places to eat but i was wondering if anyone on here can tell me the name of the area where the cool little boutiques are, like record shops, decent clothes boutiques, galleries etc etc. Not the crap shopping mall area.
cheers Lee.

Cambridge Help, by bunnyboy on Mar 14, 2008 20:47:13 GMT 1, Hi mate,
you've got to go to Dogfish - think it's on Green St. Very cool clothes shop. Catfish is the girls' equivalent. Or Giulio or if you like high level designer stuff. Not great for music shops though - think there's a Fopp somewhere..Thai restaurant near Dogfish is pretty good too..

Cambridge Help, by yapsey on Mar 15, 2008 12:16:16 GMT 1, mate i lived in cambs for about 10 years - the place the go is around the market sqaure (park up at lions park car park), head towards kings parade (the street with kings college on it), and then walk up trinity street. there are lots of smaller alley type roads of trinity street which all have some good shops on.....(a particularly good cheese shop to, next to an amazing chocolatier). you'll probably end up coming back on yourself and heading back towards the market square head on sidney street where is becomes more high streety again. there's also a very good men and womens clothes shop called guilio (if you really want to blow your budget!!!!!!!) which sells lots of posh deigner clobber and shoes and stuff on sussex/kings street (which comes of sidney street).
if you can't find anything - just ask!! - cambridge folk are a friendly lot!!!!
