What's been your best day buying prints?, by brut on Feb 15, 2008 17:42:14 GMT 1, I just wanted to know other people's best purchases of prints online. I have wondered about this as i paid a grand total of £224.50 including postage for these 3 prints from pow in august 2005. G.W.B was £85.00 plus postage.
Insect- Orange frank,1/5, was £45.00 plus postage.
D*Face print was £75 plus postage.
Seemed like a good deal at the time.

I would offer to take them all off your hands at that price, but i jught bought a DSTQ myself...a tad more than what you paid though!
As for the other two, if your not happy with them, i will do you a favour and take them off your hands for what you paid + 10% ;D

What's been your best day buying prints?, by Dellboyy on Feb 15, 2008 17:53:50 GMT 1, Mine is probably buying my Shimmering Red Butterfly Girl, back in 2006 for about £120... my only regret is i didn't buy anything else, loads of lovely Failes just sat there!
i think i even stuttered for about 2 weeks over this one, as i thought £120 was a lot for a picture!!

What's been your best day buying prints?, by brut on Feb 15, 2008 18:06:19 GMT 1, Hey Dellboyy i think we have all done that. The faile site was also a goldmine back then with great prints galore. I paid £78 includind postage for the first Mao print they did which was an edition of 8.I was dubious of buying it at the time as i was not sure what the quality was going to be like.I was not dissapointed.

What's been your best day buying prints?, by delpipero on Feb 15, 2008 18:53:10 GMT 1, my experience is the same as all you guys - bought a signed Happy Choppers for £120 (or £150?) - remember at the time thinking how stupid i was for paying an extra £50 for a signature... Which is why i have loads of unsigned early ones.
...many's the day i think back to surfing around POW and looking at all of those signed Banksy's that just sat there for weeks and weeks and weeks
BUT - those of us that bought them then, bought them genuinely because we liked the images - fact that they are all now worth stupid money is a god given bonus - because my god, I could never afford even a corner of one now.
