Anyone a ninja on photoshop ?, by beau on Jan 31, 2008 13:35:41 GMT 1, couple of really techy stupid questions to ask that have been bugging me for ages and cant find answer -
1 - why sometimes for example when using a brush does the brush (outline circle the size of brush in use) turn into a cursor with no size indication? - am i accidently pressing a wrong button to do this - i cant get it back without restarting photoshop
2 - i have somehow pressed something that means on zoom the magnifier starts off on a negative - to get positive i have to hold alt and click - it's been like this for months and i've learnt to live with it...
sorry for this boring fairly nerdy crap line of topis - but if someone can help it will have been worth it
On a more St Art note - anyone know who has been bombing manchester lately, there are loads of new tags and layups appearing, some good some not - i'll be in town later so will get some pics to post, one in particular i'm trying to track down so help with th tag be much appreciated

Anyone a ninja on photoshop ?, by umajets on Jan 31, 2008 13:45:47 GMT 1, I seem to remember Caps Lock could toggle the brush/pen outline. (On a PC using Photoshop CS anyway)

Anyone a ninja on photoshop ?, by misteraitch on Jan 31, 2008 16:10:19 GMT 1, Another really nifty tip that I've found is that once you've got the caps Lock switched on and the brush size is displayed as a circle pressing the [ or ] keys will decrease or increase the size of the brush. which saves you going back to the brush palette

Anyone a ninja on photoshop ?, by Joe J on Jan 31, 2008 23:29:42 GMT 1, Caps lock toggles the tool view.
'Apple' + or 'Apple' - zooms in an out. 'Ctrl' + or - for PC's or you can hit the 'z' to activate zoom in... or hit the 'z' twice and it toggles between zoom in and out.
'f' will fill the screen with the canvas.
hold the 'space bar' and hold the mouse button and you can navigate around the canvas.
'v' is the arrow tool and allows you to move the layered object.
Short Cuts makes for Krafty Kuts!
Have fun and if you want a game of Photoshop tennis I'm down for it!
