Completely Unrelated Music Question, by jimbobsquarepants on Jan 26, 2008 0:02:22 GMT 1, I'm being best man at my mates wedding in a couple of months time and they want me to choose their first dance song - well actually he wants me to choose their first dance song because she wants dirty dancing or phil collins and he doesn't want to be mocked in public for the next couple of years.
I've been trawling the internet for suitable ideas cos my musical taste is more funeral than wedding but they're all gash apart from For Lovers by Babyshambles. Unfortunately his sister had this at her wedding though so they won't want this as the venue, guest list and rings are already almost identical.
Any ideas? Know this ain't really the place to be asking but music and art are in the same ball park and I'm hoping good/varied taste in art = good/varied taste in music. I'm also hoping to get away from the Ronan Keating, Will Young or any other pap suggestion that appear elsewhere.
Cheers

Completely Unrelated Music Question, by Deleted on Jan 26, 2008 0:52:04 GMT 1, i had my first argument in married life with my wife during our first dance. the song was Bjork -Cocoon and the cause of the row. my wife swears she told me she didnt want the song, i know she didnt. she moaned through the first 2 minutes of what is supposed to be one of the most romantic moments in your life and i politely told her to fuck off. if you look closely at our wedding video and you can read lips you can see me saying it too.

There's a case for Celine Dion ? Wish someone would shut her back up in it.
