Art/prints in uncommon places bathroom/kitchen..., by otomi on Jan 23, 2008 18:46:51 GMT 1, The last places in my house without art are the kitchen and the bathroom. (except the Faile shower curtain:) ) I would like to know if you have done something in those places and how you protect the art. Those places tend to be wet and/or greasy. Feel free to extend it to the basement, garage ... I'm happy about pictures and advice.
Thanks.

Art/prints in uncommon places bathroom/kitchen..., by Andy'77 on Jan 23, 2008 19:09:09 GMT 1, In my bathroom I have my original GWB twin canvases :
And in the kitchen, some Eine stickers and a cut up soup can poster:
i.e. nothing valuable. Not sure you could really seal something well enough for it to be hung in such humid conditions.

Can't really see from the pic. but is that a gun coming out of his back pointing towards death?

Yes Icarus is packing. This one has many admirers and a long list of buyers if I ever decide to sell. Its behind UVP acrylic so the canvas is protected from the kitchen environment and my three year old.... ;D ;D. Its an oil painting also.
The Dface is a lenticular and behind glass.
The kitchen is big so condensation tends not to be a problem. I would definitely avoid expensive art in a bathroom but something cheap and cheerful is cool.
