Framed Trolleys or SOS - pictures or suggestions, by otomi on Dec 20, 2007 18:16:01 GMT 1, I would just like to see some - I don't have any -
Framing Trolleys looks tricky the numbers are on the far outer edge.

Framed Trolleys or SOS - pictures or suggestions, by redfred on Dec 20, 2007 19:35:24 GMT 1, Just got mine back today, unfortunately dont have my camera at the moment. Went for a black mount(wider at the sides)like the one in the Ghetto pictures, frame was black with a gold inner bead which picks up on the yellowin the picture. My numbers were also close but he managed it by just going over the circle slightly but it looks fine.

Framed Trolleys or SOS - pictures or suggestions, by wimpy on Dec 20, 2007 19:45:54 GMT 1, I'm either covering the numbers with the regular 1/4" matboard overhang or just matting all the way to the color. I really have no desire to display the deckle (doesn't add any real positive effect to this type of image to me) nor the number/blindstamp.

Framed Trolleys or SOS - pictures or suggestions, by bill on Dec 20, 2007 19:47:53 GMT 1, I am planning on float mounting the print on a white background. Then I am probably going to go with some sort of light burl wood box frame!

Framed Trolleys or SOS - pictures or suggestions, by leumasdarnley on Dec 20, 2007 21:38:40 GMT 1, Sounds crazy but the worst frame jobs I have are prints where I framed around the signature or number instead of the image. I'm going to bring the mat right down to the edge of the print, I know its signed and it will look a hell of a lot cleaner on the wall IMO.

Thanks for the link. I usually like bold frames but I'm not sure about picking up all the colors in the print. Maybe a red line somewhere.

Black frame, conservation board mount. Simple, but looks great.

Framed Trolleys or SOS - pictures or suggestions, by spenie1975 on Dec 21, 2007 0:06:05 GMT 1, For my colour trolleys i opted for a metallic turquoise frame, to match the blue, with a white mount with a bold black edge to bring out the print, Picking this up on Saturday so will post pics only if if looks the dogs knackers. For stop and search I'm going for the same frame but getting a mount to match the gloves. to bring out the blue in the print. I again think this would suit the picture and add depth to the overall image.
