That 5 minute sequence is belting.

favorite movie moments, by leehambly on Dec 7, 2007 0:08:15 GMT 1, Probably the second time I watched "Withnail and I", ie: when I worked out what it was all about and had time to enjoy it and laugh properly. No particular part, just the whole damned thing.
And so many, many parts of "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead"... coin toss gag, newtons cradle, the paper airplane... conversation tennis... anyone that hasnt seen it or isnt aware of it, should make it their first intention this weekend... your life will be simply, wholly enriched. In fact, I'm gonna stick it on now.

great call on both of these. withnail and i is my favorite movie. you just know its gonna be amazing after he says he's found "matter" in the sink! the hendrix tune as they leave the cuty. presuming ed.... fantastic! R&G are dead is also hilarious. love the way it occassionally moves in and out of hamlet. the coin toss is quality. not seen it in ages. thats sat night sorted then! ;D

Did you get the new release of this? Is it worth it? I've got the standard director's cut... not sure if it is worth it? Class in a glass though... still makes many current releases seem amateur and facile.

Very fair call... saw it 7 or 8 times in the cinema in the first 2 weeks of release... unfortunately ruined it a little, but regardless an astounding time in my "movie going experience"
"Fucker bit me... fork it! fork it!"

Total Recall. "Give those people aiiirrrrrrrrrrr".
Or how about any of the bad van damme films where his brother gets injured and he needs to go back to his old master in the jungle for some forgotten karate lessons so he can avenge his brother and become the world champion fighting a real tosser.
Wasn't that the script for all van damme movies?

favorite movie moments, by themightyreds on Dec 7, 2007 9:27:20 GMT 1, If you're on Total Recall its got to be the sequence when Arnie is in disguise as a big old woman after flying to Mars... Can only say "Two weeks" when questioned then the disguise goes wrong, he takes the head off and it becomes a bomb. An absolute favourite movie moment of mine!
Plus any of the Back to the Future's. Even pt3.!

Bloody hell, I'm getting old! The 'Big fat t**t' line in Kes is also a personal favourite. Glover - "what did you say?", "I dint say nowt sir". A perfect film.
