Still waiting for my GIWTBB. Anyone else waiting?, by salu on Dec 3, 2007 3:57:47 GMT 1, It's been over a month and I still don't have my Micallef GIWTBB. Dora sent me an email telling me to ask my neighbors and co-workers if they have it!! I'm a big fan of some of the artists they represent, but I'm a bit disappointed by POW's service. I think the parcels should be traceable. They should provide every buyer with a tracking number.
I hope I'm not the only person waiting for this print.

Still waiting for my GIWTBB. Anyone else waiting?, by Montubu7 on Dec 3, 2007 4:02:07 GMT 1, They are sent traceable, i think if Dora has said to check with neighbours or co workers its probably showing as delivered to someone, i think you need to clarify this & request the tracking number.

Still waiting for my GIWTBB. Anyone else waiting?, by ray on Dec 3, 2007 4:18:23 GMT 1, Sounds like it's time to file a claim. I'd find out who has to initiate it and get the ball rolling. I assume they send them out with insurance?
There might be a waiting period before filing but I assume you're either past it or dam close to it.
I'm sure you would rather have the print than the money. I think POW should step up to the plate and make sure you get what you ordered and payed good money for.
Come on POW, make it right!

Still waiting for my GIWTBB. Anyone else waiting?, by bobbymeachamjr on Dec 3, 2007 8:10:59 GMT 1, One major problem is they don't tell you if/when something ships. The tube can be lost months ago and you have no clue. Second rate service. Its not f*uckn' hard.

Still waiting for my GIWTBB. Anyone else waiting?, by spencerlee on Dec 3, 2007 10:24:40 GMT 1, Got a ticket through my door that it was delivered by Royal Mail on 3rd Dec. I tried their website, and phoning them, these didn't work (website wont work, phone hangs up). Emailed Dora and she said it isn't with them....so I assume it's sat in a depot somewhere, I can't get to the post office during the week or weekends.....they say it goes back to the sender after 1 week, but that's not happened.

Still waiting for my GIWTBB. Anyone else waiting?, by goodbyekitty on Dec 3, 2007 10:28:13 GMT 1, I know it sounds daft but check the post office. I just found that my Xenz has been waiting over a week because the postman 'forgot'to leave a little card saying he'd tried to deliver it.

Still waiting for my GIWTBB. Anyone else waiting?, by salu on Dec 3, 2007 12:45:02 GMT 1, I'm waiting for Dora to gie me a tracking number. Emailed her a few days ago. No response. I hate to do this, but I may have to file a claim with my credit card.

To be fair i seriously doubt pow are going to run off with your money, if you only emailed a few days ago at least give them chance to reply as i guess they have been very busy...
As before if she has asked you to check with others its seems it may have been delivered to someone...
I know if i was pow & you went to a credit card chargeback before i had chance to email the tracking number or rectify the situation your name would certainly be on my blacklist, for a few days wait is it worth it?

It'll be POW (as the sender of a Special Delivery item) who need to make the claim from the post office, but if it shows as being delivered that makes a claim tricky.

Suppose this person was sent edition 23/1000 and this has been lost. Could POW simply re-issue number 23/1000? What if the original turned up somewhere (ebay?), then there would be two 23/1000. Maybe POW keep a few unused numbers back for such cases?

Still waiting for my GIWTBB. Anyone else waiting?, by trowel on Dec 3, 2007 22:31:16 GMT 1, My GIWTBB was also "signed for" but failed to appear. Dora kindly provided the tracking number, using which you can confirm "delivery" then write to Royal Mail to obtain a signature. However, just a week after I did this mine mysteriously re-appeared back at POW, for Dora to successfully re-send. This was about four weeks after POW originally posted it.
I never did get a copy of the signature from Royal Mail, and as the initial delivery coincided with the autumn strikes I can only think my postie decided to sign for it himself and leave it in a corner of the depot for until someone stumbled across it!
If I were you, before cancelling the purchase and losing the print for good, I'd make the effort to get up early one morning and visit your depot (I think they open at 7am usually) and see what they might have knocking about with your name on.
