Anyone ever deal with Art-File Gallery?, by reznyce on Nov 10, 2007 13:43:14 GMT 1, I have had a terrible experience with Art-file Gallery so far. I purchased two Guy Denning originals from them one month ago. They have not been shipped yet. They rarely answer their telephone and almost never respond to emails.
Last I heard from them was 10 days ago when they promised to ship the paintings the next day (nine days ago.)
Relying on this purchase I did not buy a GD from Red Propeller. Now I'm pissed.
I'm beginning to get a little worried. Is this place legit?
Has anyone dealt with them in the past or know the place?

Guy Denning's website has a direct link to Art-file so I believe they are legitamate, maybe they are waiting for Guy to send them before passing them on to you. If you have still not had any joy after a week maybe you could email Guy Denning direct to inquire about the paintings.

They must be away at the moment because usually they are very responses to emails or calls...
Don't worry mate, it will get to you and they are experts at packing the art up, the last Denning I bought from them was in a tank proof package, well worth the wait...
I'm looking forward to my new Denning as I'm sure you are... be sure to post some picts when it arrives...

They are not open all week, and close early on certain days.
Your pieces will come. If you were the person that picked up the one I was going to get - congratulations...

It also stated computers were down and just received all of our emails regarding the shipment of our awaited Denning canvases

I am positive you're going to get your Dennings, they are perfectly legit. Probably just not used to all of this business. Also, Alsison is an art lecturer, so this may have affected it somehow.
