I work in the TV industry and I really hate watching the crap aired over here.
Bit (Removed) for my US shows, and Tivo to catch stuff over here. That way I watch TV over the weekend.

i'm getting it for ยฃ19 a month - 4 mixes, sky talk and sky broadband (gonna pay an extra fiver though for the mid spec option though).
it works out ยฃ6 more than i'm paying for my broadband alone!

Only got Sky HD a few months ago. I'm not sure if it's worth the extra tenner a month, especially as there's so few channels, but I must admit that the football, as well as the rest of the other sport, looks fuckin stunning. I also find myself watching the discovery, history and national geographic channels just because the scenery/wildlife etc. looks so damn good!

Quality is not great but watchable and best of all it's free and uses up very little bandwidth (<300mb a game). Either way it's much cheaper than paying for TV.
