Good idea? Isn't it too expensive knowing that the value of the work is approx. 5 K...
Thnx a lot for the respons !

frame in glass or not..., by themightyreds on Nov 16, 2007 17:24:25 GMT 1, Wouldn't want to use glass in front of an original, especially if its a painted canvas... you'd miss out on being able to see all the detail up close

little bit of dust won't do it much harm... a light feather duster (when used in conjunction with a fine set of pink marigolds) will clean it up in a flash!

frame in glass or not..., by Harveyn on Nov 17, 2007 20:33:52 GMT 1, Simply solution.
I use UVP acrylic on all my canvases. If it ever breaks it will not damage the canvas, its light for transporting, it offers UV protection (although for oils this is not really important) and most importantly it offers protection from my 3 years old daughter and her crayons...... ;D ;D ;D
