Official FairQ.com Q&A thread, by pezlow on Nov 12, 2007 17:38:07 GMT 1, Quick answers (sorry am busy monitoring the site) 1) yes, we will be using HTTPS but temporarily disabled it so that people can create profiles. all information will be secured shortly. 2) re: paypal account. unfortunately, it's one paypal account per user. I believe that this is also true for PayPal's official terms and conditions so we're just adhering to the policy.
Not really good enough is it - not having a secure server when people are registering and entering personal data such as paypal email addys, home addresses, telephone numbers etc etc. Effectively what you are saying is that the information isn't currently secure. I'm sorry but that scares me.

sorry but that sounds like amateur nonsense, how does people creating 'profiles' mean the site can't be 'secure' (whatever that is these days) using https

Official FairQ.com Q&A thread, by Deleted on Nov 13, 2007 1:22:38 GMT 1, Basically, our security certificate was invalid and people were unable to view the site properly. It should be resolved in the next 24 - 48 hours according to our hosting provider. From an architecture perspective the site is secure.

Official FairQ.com Q&A thread, by Vsix on Nov 13, 2007 10:30:11 GMT 1, I'd be concerned if people are supplying their PayPal email address and using the same password to register for FairQ, you should have made it clear to people to use a unique password. How do we know how secure the site is and who the people are behind this. There is a lot of personal information being asked for and with identity theft on the increase, this seems a bit over the top!
Also Faile are limiting the application to one print per person, which is fine, but from the terms and conditions on FairQ if people share a computer in a household etc, their IP addresses will match and they will not be able to join the Q, which effectively means WAGS are discriminated against please clarify???
