Original Banksy Sold for £55.. Please bring back.., by Jamesy Wamesy on Jan 30, 2007 22:08:29 GMT 1, if it's against the law to buy something that you know is undervalued then can't the police force the card company to release the info? if not could you not just charge the card the rest of the value, that way you're even. if not tap up some albanians to obtain the info lebanese loop stylee. (this forum does not believe all albanians are credit card fraudsters and as such these comments in no way represent the views of the forum or the people within it) (f**kin racist). peace. A contract of sale was agreed between the vendor and the purchaser at a set price. Regardless of the fact that it was a temp who handled the transaction, it's not the responsibility of the buyer to ensure correct pricing or training of staff, that's all down to the vendor. If a vendor states a price, the buyer agrees and takes payment, the transaction is completed. There is no chance that a vendor can backtrack and demand more cash or charge the buyers creditcard without their consent. When they signed, they signed to for a specific amount as stated on the payment slip. I really don't see any of this holding water in a court of law. If somebody was to sell a property because they urgently need the money and they sell for £20,000 less than it's market price, so does that mean they're breaking the law? So the vendor can then demand more because the property was undervalued? I wish Griffin the best of luck that an honest citizen comes forward and hands the t-shirt back, but in all honestly the world we live in today, I'd say you bite the bullet and accept it's gone. Good Luck, Rik
To be honest we have to find the person who bought it first.... I think we shall have to put this down to an awful experience
It was part of a pair so not the end of the world, just need to find it in a room of 5000 samples, wish me luck...
Did find 2 of only 50 original 'Wrong War' hoodies from 2003, gonna be up for grabs soon...

Original Banksy Sold for £55.. Please bring back.., by Daniel Silk on Aug 14, 2019 13:27:12 GMT 1, Amazing story from back in 2007 -
You will never believe this but over the Christmas period whilst we had our Peter Kennard and guerilla Griffin Store on Broadwick St, a store temp sold an original Banksy for £55... Un f**kingBelievable... It was done for Griffin back in 2003 and was an original stencil of bomb hugger with Paramount stars onto a Griffin shirt... Now, I know we are all live in a dishonest age, but we would really like this back as it is a significant part of our history and of course is worth a little more than £55... If you have it or may know where it is please please get in touch, there is a reward on offer... A banksy related one... Mad I know
