So my question is, whats the best time for an auction to end?

Is there a "best" time for eBay auctions to end?, by wentos on Jun 6, 2011 22:12:41 GMT 1, I personally think Friday night at 10pm...people have had their rubbish week at work. They have come home, had the takeaway, a few vinos and then are more likely to bid that little bit more on your piece.

Lorne from 'Cash In The Attic' and 'Car Booty' recommends Sunday night to end an auction.

If it is more in the realm of the ordinary (as most things are). I have seen/had to pay better prices on weekends.
So if it is something I like, end it Weds afternoon.

Just try to look that there's no Premier League game lol
Friday night seems like a bad pick. Aren't a lot of people going out Friday nights? (Bar, movies, restaurant etc etc...)

Agree, Sunday night, around 9 'ish. Dinner is done, sod all on TV, kids in bed and settled, missus on the phone, not ready to give in to bed and work on Monday yet.. couple of hours online. Perfect time for online window shopping.

X2 FRI & SAT 8-10pm on the small $$$ things ... will snag you some extra cash on the Drinkin & Biddin.
Sunday night is always good to catch the serious bidders and provide you with some assurance you will get a good price for what ever items your selling.
