Weston Frizzell - New Zealand Pop Art Studio, by psycho666 on Jun 22, 2011 11:18:12 GMT 1, I came across their artwork while in New Zealand and quite liked it.
There was one print that I saw framed in an art gallery and it was just lettering (not exactly like Eine's work). I would have loved to have bought it but getting a framed print back from NZ would have a been a pain!
Does anyone here know of them or have their work on the wall?
I'm sure this was the print that I saw (reminds me a bit of D*Face's Apopcalypse Now work):

Whanau is one of the letter series from Mike Weston and Otis Frizzell - the artist know as Weston Frizzell. Each letter references (or if you prefer โappropriatesโ) a famous NZ painter, work of art or logo.

I'm a bit gutted I didn't buy the framed print. It would have been a lot cheaper than buying the print, having it sent to the UK and then framing it.
Maybe next time I'm in NZ...
