Looking for SIGNED Applause Print, by postwarbrit on Jun 15, 2007 20:25:25 GMT 1, Hey guys, anybody have a signed Applause print?
Seems like most of the ones on ebay these days are unsigned.
And I was the lucky winner of the Peter Kennard Photo-Op piece on ebay! Actually corresponded a bit with Peter on email today to see if he is brokering his own work or if someone else is...

Looking for SIGNED Applause Print, by tomhills1 on Jun 15, 2007 21:13:40 GMT 1, numusic/nuart has one, unnumbered but signed, don't know if he is willing to part but it wouldn't hurt to ask. my guess is no but money talks so perhaps look his ID up on the members list and PM him.
good luck, wicked print, big momma though.

Love this comment. Brilliant.
As my father always said, "Don't listen to what they say (e.g. 'touts are bad, they should roast in hell'), watch what they do"!

Looking for SIGNED Applause Print, by postwarbrit on Jun 16, 2007 16:58:30 GMT 1, Thanks guys. At this point. I may have to ebay it and go for an unsigned copy. There's a real shortage of signed copies out there. It just happens to be one of my favorites, and I figure if I'm going to invest in one, I may as well go for the best.

Looking for SIGNED Applause Print, by tomhills1 on Jun 16, 2007 18:59:46 GMT 1, for the money of one signed applause you could have at least 4 quality un-signed pieces. now unless you're superficial or ostentatious, that has to be the better option surely? now, some prints you can only buy signed but the rest?
if i was a rich man i would buy only signed in whatever image i desire. as i am not, i could never justify putting so many eggs in one basket. (what is it with me and eggs today? that's twice now)
applause is class, to own any copy will make a serious impact in any environment, with the change you could make a few more impressions.
good luck whatever you decide buddy.

Yeah, but if this particular print is your favourite then going for the signed would be the obvious..
...to me anyway

Looking for SIGNED Applause Print, by postwarbrit on Jun 17, 2007 2:33:21 GMT 1, Yeah, it's sort of tricky for me. This will be my first Banksy purchase.
I mean, I love Applause and would love a signed one, but I love a lot of his pieces. Grannies, Laugh Now, Napalm, Queen Victoria, and the list goes on...I guess I just wasn't sure if unsigned versions hold their value long term.
All that blah blah blah, so maybe I'll go for an unsigned Applause from ebay and just appreciate it...and if anyone has leads on any of the others, definitely PM me!
I'm also looking at trying to find some Mantis pieces, but seem to be having zero luck.

Grr! I lost out to you! No matter, No hard feelings, well only momentarily, til I managed to get an alternative source. Congrats on the win. Hope it doesn't crease in the mail.
