Whats happened to Elms Lesters?, by sand on Jul 30, 2011 15:27:51 GMT 1, Just had a look on their website and now they only list Adam Neate + Delta as 'represented artists'.
And the last show they put on at the gallery in London was in October 2010 with Adam Neate's 'Flock series'.
I used to love visiting the gallery..can't remember a single bad show so it seems a shame that they have been so quiet.
Has their high pricing meant losing a lot of artists from their roster?
Anyone heard of any new shows planned?
What's going on??!

Whats happened to Elms Lesters?, by Deleted on Jul 30, 2011 17:08:42 GMT 1, Who would suit Elms that already hasn't been shown there?. Personally and I know I am biased, but Mr Jago would be first on my list. The blokes off the hook. Imagine a joint Parla and Jago show. It would be mind blowing.

Whats happened to Elms Lesters?, by curiousgeorge on Jul 30, 2011 17:30:24 GMT 1, I wouldn't put any artists towards elms for a show given what has happened with nearly all the artists they have worked with. They could be the nicest people but just look what's happened
Totally agree a parla/jago show would be great, just elsewhere
I'm not saying this is the case below, but the facts kind of speak for themselves
Jago should keep on keeping on, least until i have a got a house full

I know where your coming from CG. I just like the space. Its a great Venue, however may not be a good place for the now Mobile Dring to visit as Jagos Manager. No way he is getting up those stairs. Nice to see a shot of my old GP's surgery car park wall by the way .

Whats happened to Elms Lesters?, by Deleted on Jul 30, 2011 19:50:04 GMT 1, Perhaps the good folk of Elms are fed up with pandering to time wasters and prefer to hone their craft in Asia?
I wouldn't blame them.

Whats happened to Elms Lesters?, by hlarmy on Sept 30, 2011 13:09:50 GMT 1, Serious Question. Can you really be a gallery if you only have one artist? Adam Neate. (Delta has decided to fly the coop).
They can be a gallery but probably not a sustainable business I doubt, especially when you're based in the heart of London.
Looking forward to the Neate show...
