how long should you wait for delivery, by simonf on Sept 12, 2011 15:00:49 GMT 1, Just wondering if anyone has any views on how long one should wait for delivery of a print.
I have to confess I am not too happy with how long I am waiting.
I ordered a Retna print from Edition 100 on 13 August, and a month later it has still not arrived.
I ordered two weeks ago from another gallery and not a word.
Maybe I am being grumpy.. but when I sell a print on ebay it is in the post the next day... seems the decent thing to do.
but one month from one galley and two weeks from another gallery to me seems unacceptable.... and they still haven't arrived.
I don't know if anyone else has had the same problem. But at the moment I feel like making a claim on paypal to get my money back...
But if I leave it two more weeks it will be too late for the Retna as you have to make a claim within 45 days!

how long should you wait for delivery, by nah on Sept 12, 2011 15:13:20 GMT 1, Edition 100 is based in the US right? One month isn't bad US -> UK, I usually wait about that long for stuff to arrive. Would start getting worried if it doesn't arrive this week though.
Nearly 2 weeks UK -> UK is a bit of a joke though, drop them an email makes sure all is okay. Also maybe double check it wasn't a pre-order

how long should you wait for delivery, by simonf on Sept 12, 2011 15:26:56 GMT 1, Fair point about the states... but I suppose my only experience of trading is selling on ebay. I thank the customer for the order, and tell them when it will be sent (within two days max). I then tell them when it has been sent, and when they can expect it.
All this and I am not a professional company... just an amateur. So i would have expected a bit more info from a company that does it professionally... To me it kinda boils down to a respect issue... I feel like they are treating me like a mug

Hi, I bought the same print from Edition 100 on the 13th August - it arrived last week so maybe chase them up - it is a very nice print tho so will be worth the wait (especially for $100) - Imagine if you had bought the Tank....I mean Fuel

how long should you wait for delivery, by curiousgeorge on Sept 12, 2011 19:55:04 GMT 1, I'm with Simon on this
Remember the Kaws book and them complaining about the about of interest and hassle it was for them, they even added PITA money in with the shipping price if memory serves
Selling limited editions they should be aware of lots of orders at once no?

how long should you wait for delivery, by balibob on Sept 13, 2011 13:13:13 GMT 1, I had the same sort problem a while back, Fingerz offered some good advise, raise it with paypal, you can always cancel it if it gets resolved.
