Newsletter 7 December 2011 Christmas competition! How to enter Terms and conditions. Christmas Postage!
Christmas competition!
Merry Christmas everyone!ย This month, not only do I bring joyous festive greetings, I'm also writing to tell you about my annual (ok - this is my first one) Christmas Competition! Up for grabs, a small original, a couple of prints, some original sketches, a couple of cushions, a handfull of stickers etc etc. Sure, perhaps not quite as wonderous as the treasure-like 'gadget show' bounty, but better than anything I've ever pulled out of a Coco Pops box. I suppose I should be showing you a picture of it all laid out in the studio, but you'll just have to use your imagination for the moment... which is handy, as you'll also need it in order to enter the competition! (slick or what...) ย How to enter
Last week I was sent this rather extraordinary sketch of a cat. It was unexpected, drawn by a grown adult (thanks Mat) and made me laugh for longer than it should have done. I have, on occasion, also begged my wife to draw me pictures of squirrels, for the same reason. Unfortunately, her last squirrel showed such artistic promise it failed to tickle me in quite the same manner. That's where you come in! In order to enter this faintly ridiculous competition, I will require you to draw a picture of an animal of your choice, real or invented, on a sheet of A4 paper. You must not use any source material at all, it must be completely out of your head. You should title it, write your name, age and email on the back and post it to me here at the studio. (Address on the contacts section of the website.) Entry will close on the 22nd of December, and the drawings will be judged by an alcoholically impaired panel on Boxing Day. The winner (and runners up) will be notified shortly after. Good luck. ย Terms and conditions. Believe it or not - there are terms and conditions. You may only enter once and all work must be your own. By sending me your picture, you give me permission to show it on my facebook page and also possibly include on a poster, that if ever made will be sold for charitable purposes. ย ย Christmas Postage! Lastly - should you like anything in time for Christmas - see the final posting dates below... If you're ordering in the uk - midday on the 22nd. Outside the uk - 13th, although the sooner the better! I'm afraid I can't gaurentee delivery in time, but the royal mail were pretty spot on last year, and they should be in with a fighting chance. ย Here endeth the last December newsletter.ย Speak to you soon cheers Tom x ย
