But I was wondering what piece of art you have enjoyed adding to your collection the most this year?
It can be a long awaited commission, your first original, the print you've been after for an age, a gift you received with sentimental value etc.
In the past we've seen some corkers posted in similar threads.
SO PLEASE POST PICS IF YOU CAN!
And finally, what are your art related plans for 2012? What's on your wish list? Are you going to travel to see a show next year? etc
I know we've still got a few weeks of 2011 left...and loads of releases are still popping up all over the place!

To produce and sell my first series of spray artworks... Basicly, make and sell art to buy more art, tired of masturbARTing (so many great stuff coming out in Dec and no cash)
Otherwise, this year, only bought the Stinkfish from 1xRUN and got plenty of free stuff by PE !!

In 2012 I plan to spend less on buying art and more on travel and seeing shows abroad..hopefully starting with the Futura show in Paris in January!
I've been wanting to go to Art Basel Miami for the past few years..hopefully i'll make it next year.
On my wish list would be a lovely Futura abstract...one day!

The piece that I like the most would have to be TMA-NYC by Nick Walker. This is the piece that got me into the hobby. Photos below.
As for 2012, I plan on getting a few more prints from the wishlist below Some on this list are affordable, some I will never afford but these are the prints I like most in the hobby. Other than that, finish tattooing my legs (if that is considered art)

Have a lovely BAST 5ft x 4ft unstretched canvas arriving tomorrow from NYC so that's one of next years boxes ticked. Hoping to add a Futura canvas, Retna original and KAWs canvas in Y2012.
Of course the Tauba Auerbach original dream lives on but will be next to impossible.

Not an easy one for me this, as this year i've secured amongst others: two Blu sketches and a Keyes drawing, but after much thought my favourite addition of this year is a tie between Simple Pleasures by Brian Despain, and my Dran drawing, which was untitled until i named it 'drawing of saint and his missus on the beach'.
2012 i'm after a Waleska heart in love, fingers crossed for the one that got away....

My best buy this year is a red brick blue monkey'd Mighty Mo - picked it up from a forum member last week and LOVE IT. Missed out on release and the few that had shown up since then, so I am well happy. I've currently got it pinned to the wall till I get it framed and makes me grin each time I look at it. I am easily pleased
O, and my Stik "Lovers" too!
