What is the best way to send prints in the post?, by claret on Dec 19, 2011 10:51:59 GMT 1, I have a few prints to sell and I'm wondering what is the best way people send prints in the post. Now royal mail special delivery have size restrictions who does everyone use?
The print values are from ยฃ100 - ยฃ1000

What is the best way to send prints in the post?, by saint on Dec 19, 2011 11:27:43 GMT 1, Royal mail special delivery will be ok for a tube less than 90cm in length, most prints and tubes should be ok. If bigger parcelforce can be quite expensive, couriers can be a bit less tbh, i use go betweens every so often who are very good and i would recommend for UK postage.....

What is the best way to send prints in the post?, by fingerz on Dec 19, 2011 11:41:35 GMT 1, i sent my framed banksy flags by Royal Fail special delivery next day by 1 and it only cost about ยฃ25 and it arrived with no probs .... ;D

What is the best way to send prints in the post?, by claret on Dec 19, 2011 13:05:41 GMT 1, My local royal mail wont send prints via special delivery anymore as they dont pass the size limit. They wanted me to send it via standard parcel which only has ยฃ500 insurance
Size limit - posters or other rolled items: 900mm max length. The length plus twice the diameter must be no more than 1040mm.

Noticed your from the north, if you ever struggle sending large items, Redcar's post office are always really helpful if your sending huge tubes or framed pieces.
