POW's sofa, by Neate Michael on Jan 2, 2012 12:56:51 GMT 1, Do you guys remember when a few Friendly Fires, Judgement Days, and other popular prints were found behind the POW sofa and released online?
I remember it fondly as I scored a JD ;D
Were POW to find a few Invader or Dran prints behind their sofa, do you think they would throw them up online these days, or just quietly sell them instore?
But. Those two prints aside (and the Tilt, Anarchy in the UK print for personal reasons) it has to be said that they must have a pile of prints behind their sofa, as the quality of the Christmas prints were complete and utter gash.

POW's sofa, by Warm Gun on Jan 2, 2012 15:42:44 GMT 1, Gash, I do love that put down.
The last behind the sofa print I saw on the POW website was a couple of GIWTBBad's. I think they were even cost price but that must have been a couple of years ago now. I bet they still have the odd decent print kicking around the place.

POW's sofa, by mouser on Jan 2, 2012 18:52:41 GMT 1, hardly, the prints appeared several months after they were thought to have sold out, cleared out remaining stock from cancelled orders etc.... not quite the same as being held back and drip fed etc.
A couple of Invaders, micallefs GIWTBB, D-face queens and some other bits n pieces from memory. The dface DSTQs hung about for a couple of days.

POW's sofa, by speebe on Jan 2, 2012 19:50:30 GMT 1, If you were lucky you got a phone call to let you know what'd turned up...
It has to be said these were often prints that'd been 'reserved' but not paid for... This was the early days though!

POW's sofa, by bomber88 on Jan 2, 2012 20:09:40 GMT 1, The last 'clearout' I recall was the Nick Walker Mona Simpson at cost (ยฃ75 ??) when they both parted company. I also used to get the odd telephone call too on non-paid items. Salad days indeed.

Very lucky indeed, as I got my order cancelled and refunded.

POW's sofa, by Neate Michael on Jan 3, 2012 9:50:44 GMT 1, I got a sepia morons print order cancelled.
They said that both me and someone else had ordered the same print. They offered me an unsigned print instead. I asked if I could have a future signed print. They said no.
I told them to stick it up their ass.
I may have been a bit rash. Still, I am not sure I would have an unsigned morons on my wall. And I am fairly certain, the sepia morons would have been traded for something else.
