SheOne - Zion Street Project, by Feral Things on May 1, 2012 20:26:13 GMT 1, SheOne (James Choules) has some works available on his website. All spraypaint on heavystock watercolour paper, all A1 sized and all ยฃ200 (plus ยฃ6 P&P). Great cause, great work and great price, in my opinion.
The blurb from SheOne's website about the project reads:
ZION STREET PROJECT - SKETCHBOOKS FOR KIDS
I was recently fortunate to visit The Gambia, West AFrica to paint walls within the 14 villages that fall under the Ballabu Conservation Project. The overall project WideOpenWalls aims to encourage inspiration, change and urban rejuvenation through public art and simultaneously promote Gambia as a tourist destination to bring revenue to the local people. I was overhwelmed by the response from the villagers while I was working. They were so generous in spirit. The children especially who would gather round, try out there english, get involved, joke around, and ask alot of questions about the nature of my painting. They would get very involved, get under my feet, play with the spraypaint and trace over my tattoos with their fingers while jostling to get photographed in front of the paintings.
The kids are very proud of the paintings, and a newly painted wall will get instant status as the latest place to hang out. What I realised was that although curious and excited about the work they have very little way to respond to it in the long term. So, through the sale of these works on paper I would like to go back to the villages armed with sketchbooks and colored pencils to gift to the children. They obviously have much to say, and are fascinated by drawing and painting, they just lack materials to realise it.
I have done the maths based on the amount of kids I saw and I am going to need alot of sketchbooks.
See my photos from the trip here.

Great way to buy a fantastic OG by SheOne and help him do something special for those kids in Gambia...
Such a good price and it'll give you a warm feeling inside too.
