Your BAST Collection, by bone on Apr 5, 2014 22:32:00 GMT 1, ... Bast Bulgari ...the hint is at the top of the print Ed of 5 black and white. Ed of 4 pinkish/red. Only seen one green,ie above and if I remember one or two other colour one off's. There is one on wood as well. A number of Bast's have diamonds/jewellery in them, mainly in the 'multi-eyed/face' pieces but not a prominent as the Bulgari Thanks! I saw a black and white one for sale for pretty cheap a few years back, probably should have jumped on it then.

Ernest Zacharevic 🇱🇹 Penang, Malaysia Street Art , by bone on Apr 3, 2014 15:10:27 GMT 1, Congrats to those who scored. I wish I would have be able to bag one, but almost impossible with the email going out 45 minutes before drop. I'm in Chicago, email came at 315am, then they dropped after that. Not sure why they were sold this way instead of their standard way graffiti prints usually does with announcing the drop time before hand. I gladly would have woken up at 4am to try to purchase, but I can't stay up all night waiting to see if an email is ever going to come.

FT-Os Gemeos "Don't Believe the Hype" Litho for Banksy Lith, by bone on Mar 25, 2014 5:20:03 GMT 1, Looking to trade my copy of the Os Gemeos "Don't Believe the Hype" lithograph form the museum of contemporary art show in San Diego, CA 2010 for a authentic Banksy Tesco Petrol Bomb. I can add some cash to sweeten the deal.
I would also consider a Monkey Parliament litho trade
If you live in the US it would make this deal even easier, I'm in Chicago

FS Love Vandal Artist Proof Ed #/8 Nick Walker, by bone on Mar 17, 2014 4:18:05 GMT 1, A naive question, perhaps.. but I'd like to know: why does everyone cover the edition number of their print? I've noticed most people do this. They cover it to make sure that the artist doesn't know you are flipping the print on Ebay.

The Collector PERSPECTIVE Thread - Josh Keyes on Secondary, by bone on Mar 13, 2014 0:14:12 GMT 1, Interesting proposition I do think though fundamentally the market that propelled josh to fame is a very different one to the one Andy has been part of... The short cyclical nature of the urban art market is something quite different to longer patterns of more established artists ( that's not say he won't become part of that given time ). Agreed. Remember that Warhol was a celebrity of his time. He was surrounded by glitterati and collected by the very wealthy. The same can't be said for Keyes. Additionally, pop art was a epoch making movement in art history and Warhol was in the vanguard (despite the fact that he stole his ideas from Rauschenberg). Even if you believe "urban art" is the next "pop art", Keyes isn't really an exemplar of the movement and is probably mostly lumped in due to crossover in collector base. All that said, who knows. Crappy Lucien Smith "paintings" are going for 6 figures, so if his work gets picked up by the right channels, anything's possible. Lucien Smith paintings are 100k? To each their own, but damn those are weak

"SCREAM" and "THEFT" by DOT DOT DOT, by bone on Mar 12, 2014 18:51:56 GMT 1, I just got mine in Chicago and it arrived mint, luckily. Came in a thick tube, but the craft paper was dangerously short. There should be at least 2-3 inches extra on each side, this had 2-3cm. Mine did come with some tissue paper on one end to keep it from banging around in the tube. Hopefully the next time they pack them better so they don't have to deal with returns. Either way, print looks great! Print is pretty big, I'm enjoy this even more then I thought I would.

The Collector PERSPECTIVE Thread - Josh Keyes on Secondary, by bone on Mar 12, 2014 15:14:38 GMT 1, I think the Keyes market has peaked and is going the same way the Geddes market went. People are jumping ship. I know i'm not going to be popular saying that. Especially on this forum. Was going to the same thing, Geddes seems really out of favour at present, although I suspect if he brought out another stunner like "APV" then interest may grow once again !! I really thought that Acedia was a strong image, but doesn't get much love. With the hype dying, you can pick acedia up for $400.

"SCREAM" and "THEFT" by DOT DOT DOT, by bone on Mar 6, 2014 21:18:46 GMT 1, I don't have a problem with anyone that got one by reaching out, I just never do it because I would think it would be annoying to the artist. After hearing numerous stories like this over the past few months, I guess I need to contact the gallery or artist after I miss out on a drop to see if they have any APs etc.

Any suggestions for low cost, quality framing at scale?, by bone on Mar 2, 2014 20:23:14 GMT 1, I use American Fran or frame destination in the states for home framing. You could probably frame a piece that size with all archival materials, uv plexi, decent frame fir 50-60usd a piece. They send you all the supplies in the mail and you assemble at home, really easy. I would think they have companies like that across the pond as well
