Selling a piece of history (in my humble opinion), by jluhiex on Mar 13, 2017 0:07:50 GMT 1, Isn't this the same guy that tried to sell Blek le Rat at £2000 when you can buy it from source for half the price? Professional snake oil salesman.

Invader Artwork, VALUATION, by jluhiex on Mar 7, 2017 2:43:27 GMT 1, Can anyone tell me what an original INVADER tile piece is worth? I bought this from BLVD Art Gallery in 2008. Thanks. The piece is signed on the back by INVADER and called "PIRATE SKULL". top free photo hosting sites Alias MIA_47 sold for $40k usd ALIAS MIA_53 sold for £18,750 ALIAS PA 482 sold for £16,250
I called a gallery in Paris that wanted €25,000 for a unique calendar piece. With the way the invader market has been the past 2 months you can expect 20-50% increase in those numbers. They are definitely shattering estimates put out by the auction houses.

Kaws BFF Plush, by jluhiex on Mar 6, 2017 19:23:00 GMT 1, So what do you guys do with these things? Keep them in their packaging? Is this what it feels like to be a Star Wars/Barbie collector?? Display them! These are an open edition so god knows how many were produced. In terms of future resale value I don't really see these going that high so keeping them in the original packaging is pretty pointless. Use them, abuse them, display them. The clear plastic packaging seems a tad cheap but $160-200 for a kaws toy with this hype is a no-brainer.

Harland Miller Artwork, VALUATION, by jluhiex on Mar 5, 2017 21:04:03 GMT 1, I purchased the below in October Health and Safety is Killing Bondage " edition of 50, gold leaf finish Does anyone know if this is sold out or how much were they selling for at the end ? I have an opportunity to buy a HF image. Current policy lately is one in, one out so will be looking to sell this sadly. Currently framed with art glass. Trying to establish value really as only bought 6 months ago. Thanks
Sold out mid December 2016. Took a while as they were released 2015. I believe first tier was £3000 and finished up at £4800? I know there's one more in the edition currently for sale at £3900. Very underated print as it's hand finished with gold leaf. Includes VAT.

Damien Hirst Mickey Mouse Screenprint, by jluhiex on Mar 2, 2017 16:49:31 GMT 1, You are all wrong. I paid with PayPal To a private seller and paid a high price. I was actually taking a loss with the money I invested because I need the cash at the moment and only to find out it was fake. So it's a good thing I came to this forum or I would have never known it was fake. What do I gain by selling here "knowing it's fake" and pulling it right away? If it was fake and I kept trying to sell it then you would be right. No need to judge people before knowing the full story.
Hope you didn't send the payment as a gift. Hopefully you can get paypal to sort this out for you.

Kaws Print, Figure, Canvas, WANTED, by jluhiex on Mar 2, 2017 14:24:20 GMT 1, wow, how much does one of those cost when it's at home?
Phillips has the 7 part set for auction. Estimated at £120k-£180k. With the kaws market the way it is it'll probably hammer north of that.

Artcurial Art Auctions , by jluhiex on Mar 1, 2017 23:55:14 GMT 1, You know the one that sold is 8 feet tall and an edition of 3? No, I missed that; thank you! I thought that was a crazy realization from a pricing perspective for a 4' piece! Thanks for the clarification; now I can sleep better tonight The edition of 100 will fetch close to $30-40k usd in today's market. Put two XX on a piece of shit and it'll sell for $5k. Hopefully the market levels out but kaws items have gone up 3 fold the past few years. I remember these 4ft's could be bought for sub 10k usd all day long 3-4 years ago.

pejac original for trade...possibly, by jluhiex on Feb 28, 2017 23:37:06 GMT 1, I am not 100% sure I actually want to do this but I would consider trading my Pejac Original "Heavy Sea: True Story" from his show "Law of the Weakest". Not looking to sell would only be open to trades. Considering a combination of Invader pieces or a P16. All comments and discussion welcome of course!!! The piece is an edition of 3 and is a Giclee print on photographic paper mounted on 3mm aluminum. What is a p16? Is that like an art p45? Would love a heavy sea print if anyone has one for sale How much are you thinking for this one if you dont mind me asking

Digard Auctions • Invader Exclusive Auctions • PARIS 🇫🇷 , by jluhiex on Feb 28, 2017 5:36:04 GMT 1, That LA set was restored and the prior state was brutal. I was interested in it till I saw the condition and restoration reports.
Good to know!
I've noticed in a sellers market people have a lot of disposable income to spend no matter the condition.

Digard Auctions • Invader Exclusive Auctions • PARIS 🇫🇷 , by jluhiex on Feb 28, 2017 4:14:42 GMT 1, Buyer definitely got a good deal. I just told myself nothing over 40k usd as I'd rather buy an oil/acrylic on canvas from another artist I've had my eyes on.
Bid on the Kaws and the Harings.

Dran R3FL3T Print Set, by jluhiex on Feb 28, 2017 1:03:36 GMT 1, Quality of this print is top notch even if it's a giclee. It's a shame that I've only seen 1 of these framed up. It's a big piece once framed so hard to find wall space.

Takashi Murakami Artwork, VALUATION, by jluhiex on Feb 26, 2017 17:01:47 GMT 1, I have a takashi murikami print, edition of 300, 52.5 x 52.5cm 'If I could do this, if only I could do that' signed and numbered. Anyone be able to shed light on current value? Kind regards I've seen this at 2 galleries for $1100/£900
Japanese market is much more affordable as the murakami print market is really over saturated. If you can source from Japan they go for $800.
His editions of 300 usually command $1000-1500 unless it's the larger format prints like 727 which are around $2000-3000. His editions of 100 and 50 increase siginificanly and anything pre 2007 will also command a premium.

Maya Hayuk print - 1xRun, by jluhiex on Feb 23, 2017 20:19:17 GMT 1, That true flag looks great but at $2k for an edition of 99 what gives?
There was a guy on here selling 2 originals (granted they were 18"x24" and not 40"x28" ) and I think the red sold for under $3500 and the blue not far off from there.

Futura /Powers /Faile /Parra /McGinness /Fairey / Peterson, by jluhiex on Feb 16, 2017 17:28:26 GMT 1, I seem to recall someone nabbed one at auction for under $2000 a few weeks back while this print here didn't exactly sell immediately. Gallery prices are just that. Gallery prices This print went at 2-3K USD 6-7 years ago at auction, being able to get one at this moment in time at 2K USD (through an auction!) seems... too good to be true. The last time I saw it at auction (beginning of 2016), it went for 5K GBP(!), the reason I know, is because I bid on it... here's a link: www.phillips.com/auctions/auction/UK030116 lot 199 I've been on the look-out for it for some time, and the cheapest ones I have come by the last couple of years, went for 4-5K USD (and I just didn't have the funds back then)... Just before christmas I got two offers privately, one from Japan and the other from Norway, and they were both at 8K USD... with taxes, thats just around 10K for me. Weather or not the print was sold "immediately" is subjective, the way I've read through these comments, the print was sold within 48 hours, through a forum I just can't see it becoming any more "immediate" than that, especially given time to answer inquiries etc. Just like your first sentiment of me "driving up the price", I often see people "driving down the price", always having a better deal or a better price elsewhere, never really offering proof and always negating peoples ability to do some research by themselves, as if people don't invest time and effort before spending massive amounts of money on something. Anyway, I don't want to hijack this thread in an argument weather or not a print (that is already sold) is worth more or less, but if you do come by this print at 2K, I will gladly give you double, just for the hassle. And now the only thing I'm wondering, is what this print actually went for :-D Peace t This sold within an hour...I was about 10 minutes late. Would've loved this in my guest bathroom.
In regards to finding this for 2k...highly unlikely unless it was some super secret auction or time travel to 2013 but more power to the buyer for that pickup. Last one I saw was on the Bay for $4900 with a $500 optium frame job. And to think these sold for $150 at release.

Kaws BFF Plush, by jluhiex on Feb 10, 2017 18:30:36 GMT 1, Alrighty, site works fine. Now drop the rest of the open edition Companions and really put that site to the test! Oh, I just joined this party, kid had me busy, guess he didn't want it.. It's for the better. It's put together very delicately. Even the nap on the plush is very delicate. I couldn't imagine it surviving in a child's hands for more than a day.
