DRAN Print, Canvas, WANTED, by tinypoubelle on Jul 13, 2020 19:25:44 GMT 1, Do you recall this one rjf76 ? I cannot remember it. The photo that they’ve shared on the Bay doesn’t have that drawing on it. It’s a lovely drawing though (NB I say this for pretty much any drawing by him) and £850 strikes me as a good price. £700 or €700 at release, depending on how you paid. Hello mate, This is my DRAN and my eBay listing. Happy to discuss if you’re interested. It was purchased direct from the show and not sure what you mean by being different to that pic..... do you mean the reflection? Happy to send more photos if interested :-)
Hi charlie
The photo on EBay shows a wall of drawings from the show but didn’t show yours. I knew rjf76 would make the effort to find one. I couldn’t recall this particular one but there were so many lovely ones at that show, it doesn’t surprise me that I’ve forgotten one or two.
It’s a great drawing. £850 is a very fair price. You should have no trouble finding a buyer.

DRAN Artwork, VALUATION, by tinypoubelle on Jul 4, 2020 17:50:44 GMT 1, Hi guys, just found those Dran postcards in my archive, coming from the lastest Parisian Pop-Up store earlier this year. Don't know what it worth, so if you could highlight me, it would be awesome Thanks a lot Cheers W I think they are probably worth about €10-15 each, maybe more for the Tintin, as Dran cut up the original canvas prior to the end of the show and created a collage out of it...so no other official format exists of that image.
I thought he cut up all of the canvases that made up the postcard set and made the collage canvas from them all. There was a lovely scream one from memory

1 hour left in auction - $1500 - Dr Seuss Orginial, by tinypoubelle on Jul 3, 2020 18:03:05 GMT 1,
I think you’ll find that the seller advertised it here as being “orginial”, which it may yet transpire to be.

DRAN - I LOVE JAPAN 3D Original, by tinypoubelle on Jun 24, 2020 12:07:18 GMT 1, Well we have certainly been treated lately. Firstly the canvas of the bear wresting the boy and then one of very few stunning 3D pieces (they are all stunning, there are just very few of them).
What an unbelievably good Dran @niceguyg Sorry that you’re having to part with it and good luck with the sale.

Dran large canvas for sale, by tinypoubelle on Jun 23, 2020 12:31:16 GMT 1, A few pieces struggled yesterday. In fact, I’m not sure any of the Drans met their reserve. Wasn’t a great auction all round.
Good luck with the sale. It’s probably not the most wall-friendly piece but it’s a good size and a well executed, recognisable Dran so hopefully you’ll have plenty of interest.

Dran new print , by tinypoubelle on Jun 21, 2020 18:31:59 GMT 1, Take away the previous body of work and view as a stand alone piece and view and interpret as a random non art follower would view , perhaps as a guest to your home if were on display ? Look at the boy’s wry smile - the father has yet to view the back and looks pleased with the gift.
And better still, we don’t know that he’ll get reference on the shirt once he does turn it around. He could be walking the streets, innocently proclaiming his racism that very afternoon

I’m sorry you’re having to sell but good luck with the sales and huge congratulations to whomever buys either or both.
Examples of this quality are hard to find.

New print from Dran , by tinypoubelle on May 8, 2020 12:34:56 GMT 1, Could someone explain what’s happening in the image, I don’t really get what it’s all about (genuine question)
I see it as a mouse brightening up it’s home with a lovely piece of art.
The glove for a sleeping bag is quite wonderful.

New print from Dran , by tinypoubelle on Apr 24, 2020 16:33:43 GMT 1, The prints look great. Congratulations to those that picked one up.
It’s a great image and I would love to see the original.
There have been some fantastic, really wonderful new paintings and drawings that I have seen from Dran in the past 12-18 months. Lots of love poured into them. They have brought me some of the greatest joy of any of his works. I honestly mean joy. I’m indifferent to the majority of the world but Dran’s art moves me like no one else’s. I know many other people who feel similar.
To me, the quality of his work at the moment speaks volumes of his personal happiness. It is certainly filling me with happiness.
I’m absolutely loving his work right now.
Two big positives for me is that through Instagram we continue to be able to share in his great art and perhaps most importantly there is a way for all of his fans to contact his team and build relationships. Let people see for themselves what they think of the experience.
Either way, great print and well done to those that got one.

New print from Dran , by tinypoubelle on Apr 4, 2020 11:00:31 GMT 1, Unsurprisingly, I think it’s a glorious painting. I was so pleased to see it on his Instagram. Made me feel warm and happy, which is what both Dran’s work and the coming of spring do to me generally.

Dran show Paris, by tinypoubelle on Dec 2, 2019 18:51:18 GMT 1, I attended the show over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed.
Arguably the best show for a good number of years. Some fantastic works of art. A mix of postcards, posters, prints, cardboard and originals on both thick paper and canvas. Of course there are also the lucky bags for the bargain hunters.
The standard of all of the work is exceptional. I am, of course, biased in my views as I have loved the artist’s work for many years.
Once again the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and relaxed, especially when the initial chaos of those wanting a lucky bag had died down and those people had left.
We were free to discuss and enjoy the new body of work without any pressures of purchasing. There was no FOMO.
It was great to catch up with other Dran fans and to make new friendships.
There are so many relevant, interesting and superbly executed pieces that I couldn’t begin to list them all but there are some truly stunning pieces. There are three or four larger originals on thick paper / card that just blew me away.
I have no idea how to share photos on here but if anyone desperately wants to see them and cannot make it out to Paris, please feel free to drop me a message and I’ll share one or two.
If you’re in the area, or able to make the trip this week, I strongly recommend it. If you go to the show and don’t enjoy it, i’ll personally reimburse you £5 of the cost of your trip and that of your partner if you take them along. In the interests of full disclosure, I left mine at home
Honestly, it’s brilliant.

Why are drans “people” such d****?, by tinypoubelle on Oct 29, 2019 11:54:34 GMT 1, My experience with them has been very positive.
When I first met them, they were wary of me. They took time to get to know me. They don’t want his art being used as a mechanism to make other people money. They want to know that his works are going into loving homes.
I was in a position to buy a new piece, had a budget and contacted them. They offered me something and told me only the price and the size. Naturally, it was a lot of money to spend on something I hadn’t seen. I asked if I could go to Paris, meet them and look at the piece before committing to it. They agreed to this, no problem.
When I met them and saw the piece, I asked for a couple of days to consider the purchase, they said this wasn’t a problem.
Since then, I have introduced other genuine collectors to them. Some have been offered and bought. Others have been offered and said the piece isn’t for them. The team have had no issue with this. They know that this is a lot of money and that people have to be really happy with the image they’re buying.
In the time i’ve known them, I’ve seen people blocked from Instagram, I’ve seen people come onto shows, demanding specific prints and they have been met with a cold response. They don’t like entitlement, they don’t like demands.
They are not a business, they don’t have online sales, they don’t run shows in the same way that others do. They don’t do the things that we, as collectors have come to expect but that’s how they choose to do things. I genuinely believe that they do this to protect Dran and his work.
They also have always tried to ensure that there is something for everyone at their shows. From €20 to €60k. They want everyone to love Dran’s work and to love the experience. They’ve always been welcoming and warm and wonderfully hospitable at the London shows.
Would I love there to be a show, in the traditional sense, with 15-20 top drawer canvases, of course I would. Would I love there to be a print release, of the quality of Chalks or ILY, with unique hand finished editions, of course I would.
It’s not my artist, it’s not my choice.
I know other people have had different experiences, have different views as to what they do and why and I respect that.
I just wanted to give a bit of balance by sharing my experience with them.

Dran • Artist Discussion, by tinypoubelle on Dec 18, 2018 18:31:25 GMT 1, ... the postcards are a picture of the canvases ... dran has cut up the postcards to make the collage piece ... ... the canvases are safe ... nah I think not
The canvas was definitely made up of the pieces of other canvases.

Dran • Artist Discussion, by tinypoubelle on Dec 18, 2018 10:24:32 GMT 1, Unfortunately my father has selfishly selected tomorrow as his 70th birthday so another trip to London is out of the question. I have spent this past week learning to control my FOMO. I must put what I have learnt to the test.
For me, it has again been another great show and one which made further strides to bring his fans closer to the artist, something that could not be said 24 months ago. Everyone I have spoken to has said how well they’ve been treated and how nice the team have been with them. Each time I’ve visited there have been a few familiar faces there and we sat and chatted about anything and everything. There’s a sense of family about seeing everyone.
Once again, there’s something for every collector, regardless of budget and preferences.
The use of watercolours and inks in this show was the highlight for me, allowing the sensitivity of his work to show through but some love the cardboard pieces, others prints, canvases etc
Three prints, all with different appeal, all decent value and good edition sizes.
It’s been nice discussing people’s favourite pieces and prints as it shows that what appeals about Dran’s work differs greatly between people.
It has been lovely to sit in the show and chat with people and learn what they love about his work.
When someone walks into the space, the Dran team often can be heard saying “take your time, there is no rush” and that has been the case. Relax and enjoy yourself.
Obviously being there when he walked in with the canvas and painted the cat was a highlight for those present. It was a lovely little “audience with” moment. Intimate and welcoming.
There were a couple of frustrations, mainly the cash only situation but I think that’s something they recognise and try to assist where they can. Also frustrating for those abroad but hopefully the community pulls together and helps out those not able to attend, wherever we can.
Thank you again to everyone involved in putting on the show. To everyone I met and those that weren’t able to make it, I wish you a very merry Christmas and hope that we meet again at a Dran show in 2019, whether that be London, Paris, or the US (as I know some fans are desperate for).
For those able to attend tomorrow, I’m sure it will be something special, have a great time and enjoy.

Chiswick • Urban Art Auctions 🇬🇧, by tinypoubelle on Nov 23, 2018 18:40:04 GMT 1, Some great pieces in this auction.
I too have a few works in there.
This is the first time I’ve ever put anything in an auction so both nervous and excited about the experience.
