Itโs been framed by Niche Frames in Bristol using UV glass. Prints 85 x 85 but larger when framed so pick up only or can drop off South west/Wales potentially.
Not sure where these sit price wise so open to offers if any interest.

Art as an investment , by wrigs on Feb 16, 2022 23:44:44 GMT 1, Itโs luck of the draw unless you have a few quid and can afford those artists that have been selected for greatness by the galleries and promoted heavily. Even then itโs not a given as artists can fall out of favour. For every artist that goes onto great success there are hundreds of others that donโt so buying bottom end is pot luck.

How do you make deals with other users?, by wrigs on Oct 19, 2021 20:15:01 GMT 1, Iโve only brought the one piece and sold a couple but all in all have had good dealings. Like anything else do your research and know who youโre dealing with before parting with cash. Worth checking previous thread history/comments to get a feel for who youโre talking with.

Coronavirus effect on humanity?, by wrigs on May 2, 2021 12:14:45 GMT 1, There may be a new one on the horizon; spreads as fast as Covid, but is as deadly as Ebola. Hopefully this is stopped before it starts. โProfessor Jean-Jacques Muyembe Tamfum, the doctor who discovered Ebola warned that a fresh set of deadly viruses will hit mankind as he fears Disease X which could be as fast-spreading as the COVID-19, and as deadly as the Ebola virus, reports CNN.โ www.google.com/amp/s/www.news18.com/amp/news/buzz/what-is-disease-x-deadlier-than-covid-19-ebola-and-may-become-the-next-pandemic-3247541.htmlWhen Covid first hit, I had just started playing The Last of Us video game. It was such a strange, surreal feeling, the correlation between the two. For a few moments, I thought this was the end for everyone. if Ebola had the transmissible rate of Covid 19 the world would end. Shown globally the world was not prepared and could not cope with contaminating or managing this pandemic Just lucky the mortality rate was not high
But it doesnโt so it hasnโt. If it did you could bet your bottom dollar we would be somewhat closer to a vaccine already

This article is purely sensationalist guff at its best however. Just riding the back of fear to get heard. In short there is no disease X. Fighting viruses and disease is an ongoing piece one which we have been especially good at combatting with progress in medical science.

Coronavirus effect on humanity?, by wrigs on Mar 16, 2021 22:56:55 GMT 1, Vaccines are never 100% effective. The idea is to fight the virus into submission. If everyone took your approach we'd still be living with Polio and the like. In fact, it's because of a not too dissimilar attitude that we're seeing a resurgence of measles and thousands of entirely preventable deaths arising from it. Cant really compare Polio, mainly infected children under the age of five, covid is very different in that it appears from the data we know the groups who can get seriously ill or die so have them vaccinated and then talk too the public like grownups and give good information and advice.
Diphtheria, Hep B, tetanus, meningitis, flu, MMR... not keen on any of these?

Coronavirus effect on humanity?, by wrigs on Mar 16, 2021 22:29:22 GMT 1, What an utterly utterly stupid thing to ask. Is it ? Correct me if I'm wrong. But when you are vaccinated you can still get infected with the virus, you can still carry the virus and you can still spread the virus. Vaccination prevents you from getting seriously ill and (hopefully) the need for hospitalisation. So it's very useful for those who are vulnerable. But to vaccinate children and people below 50 is completely unnecessary. Also there is no proof you are protected for life. Most likely you will need a yearly vaccination for Covid-19, same as for influenza. Are we gonna vaccinate the whole planet every year ??
Yes itโs early days but current data is optimistic
www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/03/11/pfizer-covid-vaccine-blocks-94percent-of-asymptomatic-infections-and-97percent-of-symptomatic-cases-in-israeli-study.html
Given as a species weโve almost eradicated some of histories worst illnesses and diseases such as Polio Iโm really not quite sure why the hostilities towards the Covid vaccine. Iโm not forcing anyone to get it but think those posting miss truths are not helping a difficult situation

Coronavirus effect on humanity?, by wrigs on Mar 16, 2021 22:24:35 GMT 1, Yeah hang about. Let me just dive into 7yrs of biomedical training so I can fully understand whatโs in the vaccine. Of course people are putting trust into the experts. I donโt fully understand how a nuclear reactor works but I still happy to use the energy it produces. The reason your still upright today is because people have put trust in these experts and your parents have been immunised against numerous illnesses over the years. Scaremongering on art forums is really not whatโs needed right now. Common sense tells us the world is flat, the sun and planets revolve around it, quantum mechanics and general relativity are nonsense, and the miasma transmits disease.
The scientific method was invented because common sense cannot correctly explain the natural world.
Itโs held up fairly well thus so far I would suggest

Coronavirus effect on humanity?, by wrigs on Mar 16, 2021 21:21:11 GMT 1, Transparency in all results and data would help make the populations of nations make a more informed decision to participate with the vaccine . There were numerous medical reports and studies completed in December and January from other countries that displayed potential issues with the vaccines and not disclosed to the media about the findings that are being released now, months later. currently the way the news is handled in the uk it is causing fear in the elderly and those that were on the sidelines more against the uptake of the vaccine and currently for the vaccine to be effective and make a difference towards the virus the majority of the population needs to use it. The majority of the public are taking the vaccine as they blindly trust their governments. How many people that have taken the vaccine have read the products contained within or done their own research? There has been no studies of the long term effects of the vaccine as of time constraints. This stop and start approach will just prolong the approach to get back on track Friends and family have taken the vaccine and a few had shivers and coldness and extreme pain over 5-24hrs as of a reaction. www.bmj.com/content/372/bmj.n149www.bmj.com/company/newsroom/covid-19-vaccine-trials-cannot-tell-us-if-they-will-save-lives/www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/world/2021/feb/08/oxford-covid-vaccine-10-effective-south-african-variant-study
