Second Rule of Print Forums.... YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT RELEASE DATES.
I had faint hopes of trying to bag a Faile print this morning. After reading this thread it's a no hoper....

Love and Hate, by themightyreds on Sept 9, 2007 1:02:43 GMT 1, For me it's the physical print quality that determines if i like or love a print that i buy. The image is often secondary to the technique used to me...

My favourite Rat..., by themightyreds on Jun 15, 2007 12:16:39 GMT 1, cbl Can't remember where it was pointing at, or even the exact street as it was a few years ago i took it... I do remember it was on the end of a low wall before the start of some steps though if that helps?
Saw this one in the Parliament area when i took my mum on a touristy day out around town a few years back... first one i saw and still my personal fave. What was it pointing at? (you lie arrow)

Morons confirmation email, by themightyreds on Apr 3, 2007 13:24:51 GMT 1, Checked it out with both PoW and my credit card company. Pow said that all thats happened is the confirmation email from them didn't get sent so they'll put a copy of it in with the print. Credit card company said PoW had sent a request for funds last friday.
Looks like all the efforts to get one last week have been worth it!

Morons confirmation email, by themightyreds on Mar 31, 2007 20:55:48 GMT 1, Tried for 2 hours yesterday and eventually ordered a Morons unsigned from PoW. Got an order successful email from thier online payment system within 10 mins but not one from Pow themselves... Does anyone know if this means the order is not valid as i've always had conformation form them direct in the past? I'll be absolutely gutted if i miss out on it...

Turned off by Giclée, by themightyreds on Jun 8, 2007 14:38:05 GMT 1, i have a couple of giclee prints and have to say i was sceptical of the quality at first but after you see them in the flesh they take on a different quality. Very different to any process litho job or inkjet/laser print i have ever seen, more like printing with unlimited spot colours. Gives a very flat colour that even looks continuous under a glass and certainly looks brilliant colour wise. Not as much a piece of art as a hand pulled screen print is though, but still looks great framed up. Will be interesting to see if the ones i've got lose any of thier impact over time...

Q for Computer Expert/Geek..., by themightyreds on Jun 12, 2007 13:17:27 GMT 1, There are 3 Banksy fans (me included) in my office and we were all on similar machines (macs) trying all afternoon for both Applause & Morons on our 10mb network connection. All of us had the same frustrating errors and i didn't even know i had got one (Applause) till later that night when a confirmation email was sent to my home email address. My non-technical guess is that its just pure jammy luck if you even get to the checkout with one, let alone manage to get one ordered!!

Gold Ornate Frames, by themightyreds on May 1, 2007 10:02:41 GMT 1, I got one for my Applause print from an ebay trader called 'letsbuymirrors'. Total with P&P was only £85!!
They mostly sell large ornate mirrors but i spoke to a woman there called Lesley who was able to change the mirror glass for clear picture frame glass and even knock the price down for not using the mirror! Contact number for them is 01204 405405. Beware that the packaging they use is awesome.... my frame arrived and was too big to take home in the back of an escort estate until half-way unpacked!!

BRP White Noise Preview..., by themightyreds on Nov 23, 2007 17:47:54 GMT 1, Was slightly miffed that they charged me £12 for postage though, and said that it wouldn't be possible for me to collect it myself .
That's not too cool... I didn't fancy the £12 postal charge (risk) either but when i asked they were fine about me collecting the print... just said to call them next week to get a collection time. I'd ring them to ask about it.
