BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 17, 2019 0:40:22 GMT 1, It's funny that theres been some posts recently of old POW screenshots (more so on insta) about old school prices then he goes and does this. There'll be posts in the future about the current gdp pricing and ppl'll loose their sh1t about how insane it was

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 16, 2019 23:04:32 GMT 1, The story / answer part is only to kill bots. Excellent move. You can probably tell a story about your meal today and will still have equally chance of winning. They just want to avoid the 20 000 entries from China with the letters ‘fu’ as answer.. not so sure on that. There's a bit in the terms and conditions saying that GDP have the right to use and publish the answers to that question in the future....so not only might they all be read, some of them might appear in future publications

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 16, 2019 22:33:32 GMT 1, Given this unexpected demand, in case someone important is reading, I would like to help banksy fulfill these orders.
I'll happily stab a needle into a fluffy toy or put small mirrors onto riot helmets. I've stabbed myself with a needle on more than one occasion and one of my old jobs was sticking velcro into the inside of cycle helmets so I feel I have relatable experience.
When sober I draw like a distracted 5 year old, so imagine what skills I could bring to the game if I moved my drinking from just the night time into daytime too. I can be contacted on 555 80085
(17% joke, 69% serious)

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 16, 2019 18:28:40 GMT 1, From the T&C's - Changing your mind:
For most items bought online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days (after the day you receive the items) and claim a refund. You do not have a right to change your mind in respect of:
3. any items which become mixed inseparably with other items after their delivery.
I wanna know what this could mean for future products!
Oh, and FR could you just clarify to me whether it's one item per household? I dont think you've quite made it clear enough for me to understand

DFace Social DIScontent Tokyo, by ed on Oct 13, 2019 17:09:08 GMT 1, This is all moving rapidly in the right direction for me. Loved D*Faces style about a decade ago and it slowly moved away from what I liked.
The D*Dog character is one of my favourites so good to see more prominence of this. Let's hope for a UK show some time in the next few years 🤪

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 13, 2019 15:48:56 GMT 1, Come on guys, you know how this is done... 1. Ed
(Oddly this is the third time I've made a lame joke like this in this thread. I'm ok with not getting a rat. It's a good lesson in being ok with missing out for me ha)

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 13, 2019 15:18:12 GMT 1, Just left and looks like they are trying to get rid of the posters now as just handing out to anyone and everyone. People walking away with 2 each. Strange fact but 6 years ago today was the stall in Central park where he sold originals in Central park for $60 for the better out than in show. iamzero is gonna have a good day then

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 13, 2019 14:45:55 GMT 1, Sundowner ..nothing would stop them printing more, right, even if all the old ones were gone? It'd be very good timing and I'd love to get one. I went to that exhibition but as part of a charity event in the evening, so I never got to go to the gift shop.
I'm loving the anticipation of this

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 13, 2019 14:28:25 GMT 1, Damn, and now two Crisis as Usuals too! these will be out my price range i bought a pow soup cans poster off this forum a few months ago and noticed at the time some (imo) big hitters on the forum selling theirs. I thought it was kinda odd at the time. I now wonder if that poster will be reprinted and sold through GDP and (as others have said) whether these rats and liita bits we're seeing given out will be sold in a more suitable form than the current paper it's on. The current stuff given out has all the hall marks of test run pieces and is proving very good advertising of open edition/time limited prints of the same images that could be released. Just pi55ing in the wind and there's way more knowledgeable people on here than me. Time will tell

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 12, 2019 15:07:09 GMT 1, I'm surprised noone has tried to tag the rat that's on the box outside the shop. I know there's security there, but they're often nowhere near it...I'd of thought it'd be a tempting thing to tag...it doesn't have any plastic over it right?

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 12, 2019 14:33:48 GMT 1, Presuming that some of the editioned pieces go to lottery, the chances of actually winning are going to be miniscule compared to sale ends v2. Banksy didn't even mention that print on insta and very little media coverage picked up on it. Only people that knew about the lottery were from this forum, fans checking the pow site and the odd post on Instagram. This online shop however has been put out everywhere. Some serious luck needed here me thinks🤞 Actually securing a bit of banksy stuff is obviously mostly unrealistic nowadays...that's why I hope the unlimited things are truly open editions. Idc about monetary value, all my collections gonna be left to my nieces and nephews and they can fight over the money. For alot of us (or maybe just me) banksy has turned into a performance/immersive artist. You go along, immerse yourself in whatever is going on, have a smile about a few things and have a think about 'the message'.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 11, 2019 16:58:50 GMT 1, Was handed a rat screen print a couple of days ago outside the shop. Mint condition. Kept it rolled up in a tube. Not interested in having it on my wall so is it better sell it on now or leave it til all the fuss has died down? I believe the right thing to do would be to do a giveaway to the forum members. 1. Ed

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 10, 2019 20:44:21 GMT 1, If everyone donated a 5er for each response, imagine that! I'm in. Have donated to lesser causes before. $25 won't break the bank. it would be quite a nice outcome of all this thread to get to the point where everyone who feels able to afford to donate does lovewelcomes.org/products/donate?variant=19796413382713

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by ed on Oct 10, 2019 20:21:14 GMT 1, I've decided to change my name to gross domestic product. I encourage you all to change your name to this too.
I want to see a 70+ thread with every post made by GDP.
Edit: 9 days in, I've gone a little crazy. I'm supposed to be writing a job application but just sit and refresh this forum and gdp
