Desiree Palmen, by singerstu on Mar 16, 2008 23:14:52 GMT 1, I was thinking of Purchasing a piece but her prices are from 2,000 Euros and for that all you get is a large photo which is an edition of 5, not even a unique piece. She is doing work in London next year if anyone is interested. Nice lady though.

banksy in bed with Ken Livingstone, by singerstu on Mar 7, 2008 0:07:00 GMT 1, I couldn't give a monkey's which politician Banksy supports, I have my own mind and celebs don't make it up for me! Politics aside, does anyone know what the Banksy sketch went for???
It was an exciting finale to the Auction tonight. The bidding for Banksy's Essex Road started at 35k but Laz quickly came in with a bid of 100k. Bidding continued between Laz and the guy next to him to 160k then the guy I was with (Who I cant name) bid the piece up to 190k and the guy on the phone put a final bid in of 195k which won the painting to a round of applause.
Quite an exciting few minutes

SG 2007 Bid Result, by singerstu on Jan 27, 2008 9:26:13 GMT 1, Laz had virtually jack to do with the ghetto. Banksy's being dealt with by Holly EVERYTHING else, by Simon at POW Laz didn't even go.
At the end of the day Laz and POW is basically the same company. Simon is a director of Laz and POW is partially owned by Laz so whats the difference who deals with what they are effectively one and the same

Micallef price free-fall, by singerstu on Dec 7, 2007 0:54:35 GMT 1, HFUNG just went for 1390 god dammit I just didnt have the cash 3500 to 1390 thats a drop wow
If this was the one on Ebay it had a 22% buyers premium attached so the winner would have paid just under 1,700 for the print!
