D.J. Lends Original Banksy To Manchester Gallery., by Agent Provocateur on Mar 7, 2014 13:20:13 GMT 1, Old news I know, but I completely missed this... just saw a great photo on flickr taken by a friend, so thought it worth posting.
I think the context is hilarious, but the main word that springs to mind is incrogruous! It used to be hung in the lobby but was moved to this more prominent location a while back.
Taken by Big Bozo and can be seen on Flickr here He takes a lot of great street art photos so it's worth having a look at his photostream
BBC website article (with a couple of photos)
Whilst I'm here, and for want of a better place, I have finally met someone that was actually in NY at the time Banksy's 'Better Out Than In' show was going on... and more importantly the weekend of the infamous Central Part stall.
He actually walked passed it, took a photo and ambled on... quality.

George Morton-Clarke: The Devils Cabinet @ Imitate Modern, by Agent Provocateur on Feb 20, 2014 18:21:05 GMT 1, I managed to nip in to a small soiree at the show last night and these were the two stand out pieces for me, the texture and colours were great.
'Fraid I can't comment about the prices as haven't got a clue where they've come from and what they are at the show. But I've met George a few times, and had a quick chat with him and his Mrs last night, and like the thought processes behind what he paints.
If anyone's going tonight make sure you read the quotes on the walls, they range from serious arty speak (long complicated sentences with convoluted words) to quite sensible, simple and apt comments about his view on society. My favourite went something like 'I play the music but can't predict how you feel about it'.

AP 2014 SALE | 30% OFF | ENDED, by Agent Provocateur on Feb 18, 2014 14:34:09 GMT 1,
The AP 2014 SALE with an eye watering 30% OFF is now in full swingโฆ and open for business until noon GMT Friday 21 February.
Last week, on the spur of the moment, I decided to have a sale. Having accumulated a stock pile of random work over the years I thought it was time to clear the APHQ storage shed.
The poor people on my mailing list got a heads up first, and since then I've been going through the shelves photographing more stuff, and adding everything to my website. There's old and new work, unique pieces and editions, on paper, wood, canvas and old frames. The range of mediums includes spray paint, acrylic, ink and even fire.
This forum and the people on it have supported me over they years, so hopefully by reducing my ridiculously high prices something you like (but thought was too expensive) might be a bargain now! Here's the link:
www.aprovocateur.co.uk/aphq-sale
I'll post a small selection of what's available below, email aphq@aprovocateur.co.uk or pm me on here with orders, questions or abuse.
Thanks for all your support.

Atom Printing, by Agent Provocateur on Feb 9, 2014 15:07:54 GMT 1, Good stuff sir, I remember seeing 'Hombre de Murcielago' in your studio before Christmas, was beautifully screened.
I'd recommend Artswipe and their digital alter-ego Atom Printing, having used both a number of times the quality is great.
