Banksy - How can he do a New Print Release?, by Ruggs on Jun 22, 2017 22:01:36 GMT 1, Won't happen again. The CYW release was a total farce. He makes enough money these days selling tiny editions and OG's to famous personalities, monied clients and friends. Whatever happened to those unsold LA editions and glitter gorilla prints?

Forum Auctions • Banksy Marketplace 🇬🇧, by Ruggs on Jun 18, 2017 13:01:42 GMT 1, Making it a very rare hand-finished edition. Unsigned yes, but with the POW error story behind it and being accompanied with a PC COA, I reckon it will be a very popular lot and bidding will be high. Is it yours, Ruggs ? I wish!

Harland Miller and Art on a Postcard/Art Carboot Fair, by Ruggs on Jun 17, 2017 12:51:11 GMT 1, Just like the Damien Hirst debacle several years ago I fear most of the 50 tickets will probably be snaffled up by unscrupulous stall holders.

Forum Auctions • Banksy Marketplace 🇬🇧, by Ruggs on Jun 14, 2017 8:54:27 GMT 1, Having checked this out and for all those concerned the Radar rat has a cert and indeed is from an unsigned ed of 25. POW sold the print to someone in the early days without a signature, for those who remember things then it was a real shambles all sorts of errors were made, double numbers etc. When it was sent to PCO their way of correcting the error was to change the numbering from 75 to 25 and make it part of an edition of 25 unsigned prints. So there we are no great conspiracy just PCO correcting an error they made when they sold it originally, and in so doing producing what I figure is the only (vaguely) affordable Radar Rat any of us is likely to see. Interesting findings printguru. Despite POW's error that makes it quite a rarity and should be well sought after, especially as its such a small edition size of 25, hand-finished and comes with a PC COA.

Harland Miller Prints, by Ruggs on Jun 13, 2017 16:14:43 GMT 1, Those works above look amazing. Loving the doodles around the margins. 'The Me I Never Knew' now disappeared from Other Criteria's website. Very, very few prints available at source now.

Forum Auctions • Banksy Marketplace 🇬🇧, by Ruggs on Jun 13, 2017 13:43:00 GMT 1, Radar Rat unigned ed.of 25 estimate 6000-8000£ ... is there something wrong??? Were the Radar Rat only an edition of 75 all signed prints? I think they (Forum Auctions) need to do a bit more research on their prints. In the description of the signed Love Rat they've listed it as an edition of 75. Oddly though on the Radar Rat the print does seemingly have 16/25 written within the POW blind stamp.

Banksy Unsigned Love Rat- Shocking condition - ADVICE, by Ruggs on Jun 12, 2017 21:00:41 GMT 1, Thought I would update this thread. Unfortunately the print is still stuck in the Pest Control backlog and I haven't heard anything from them since it was put in for verification. In the meantime I have relocated the print from where it was so cruelly stashed away in a drawer in Copenhagen. Quite hilariously since the first pictures where taken and when I received this in the UK it managed to lose a corner and look even more beaten up! After weighing up the pro's and con's it was decided that the piece should have some restoration work and the following pics show quite the transformation. The creases are still somewhat evident and the skimming to the edges where tape was pulled can be seen, but overall I think the restorer did a fantastic job. The before: The after: Impressive restoration. What coach said.

New Banksy - UK Election Souvenir Special, by Ruggs on Jun 10, 2017 9:06:05 GMT 1, Does this now mean Banksy is sitting on a pile of 'free' prints? I imagine so along with the remaining LA set, gorilla and maybe a few others we know very little about.

Felipe Pantone 🇦🇷 Exhibition News • Contemporary Art , by Ruggs on Jun 8, 2017 22:20:26 GMT 1, Don't know if this has been posted. Came across it on Coriander Studios website.
These exclusive new fine art editions by Katrin Fridriks are faithful to artist's renowned high standards regarding screen print technique and quality. (Utilizing peculiar printing and varnishing techniques, as well as the same paint used at her studio, these prints are flawlessly capturing her unmistakable energy and precision.) Meticulously produced in close collaboration with Coriander Studio, with whom Fridriks Workshop joined forces in the past, the editions kept the quality level and vital attributes of the original artworks. For both prints, Katrin Fridriks insisted on keeping the signature thickness of the paint and texture effect. By carefully selecting certain areas through the embossing technique, as well as applying partial glossy varnish, the finished works enhance the volume effect and the brightness of the colors. For re-creating her iconic "Waving Miracle & Magic Mind" black/white series, Katrin Fridriks and Coriander Studio applied Lascaux 995 paint to replicate the exact same silver background of the original Fridriks artworks. This cosmic tone creates various luminous reflection effects when viewing the print from different angles. As for "Waving Force of Nature - Awakening" color series, Fridriks chose a raw white mat background in order to accent the fierce energy of the image, at the same time allowing the screen printed organic macroscopic black/white details to intensify the contrasts between the elements and techniques used.
