Tavar Zawacki 🇺🇸 Above Street Art • Print Release, by manchestermike on Mar 3, 2010 12:01:44 GMT 1, There is no need to hype the works of Above ... Isn't that kinda your job though?
Exactly... I don't think I've seen a post on here by Karn not hyping Above and the derivative tripe he puts out (admittedly the arrows were original, but boring as hell) the other stuff... I still have nightmares about the one near the cashpoint

banksyoriginals.com/, by manchestermike on Feb 22, 2010 13:01:48 GMT 1, Tom Tom... forgive me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a few problems with them a while ago? My brain isn't working today but I seem to remember issues, but not why there were they were authenticating POW prints (and charging for it). this was before PC and POW issued a statement reminding people that only POW can authenticate their own prints. probably another reason PC was created.
That's the one, knew there was something

Banksy Bias?, by manchestermike on Feb 19, 2010 15:19:48 GMT 1, I also fail to see how there's any conflict between going to private school & being opposed to elitism. What better way to see the injustices of the class system than to experience it first hand?
Didn't see this at the time, but why would a person going to a private school see the injustices of the class system first hand?

Are people on here secretly buying up mr brainwash, by manchestermike on Feb 18, 2010 22:28:53 GMT 1, manchester mike what are you on about are you some funny guy or something? LoL! dont worry about my punctuation, breathing or anything else for that matter all them stars are getting to your head and whats all this hangover talk, i made a point so don't try and get funny guy popularity stripes off me maybe you could just make a constructive point, btw i just want to let you know ur not funny im laughing at you not with you LOL! how old are you? you should grow up or why dont you just go and 'saute your scrotum' u HATER!
To be fair you may have done however I tend to give up on something as a valid point when the acronym LOL is used. In my experience what follows is usually gibberish. All Mr Brainwash's "success" shows is money can but it, give me the funds he's put in and the contacts he's been able to use and I guarantee you I'd achieve the success he has done without resorting to putting out the tripe he has.
Mark my words, I'm not trying to get any funny guy popularity stripes thank you, just observing... Everyone is influenced by someone, I don't think anyone has a problem with it, yes Neate is influenced by Bacon, so what... he takes the art, makes it his own and trys to push it forward, similarly the others you mention, Micallef, Faile even D*Face to a greater or lesser extent, to mention Brainwash in the same breath as them personally astounds me, he produces derivative dross of the highest order, without the 'backing' he has had he'd be laughed off the new artists section on here.

Are people on here secretly buying up mr brainwash, by manchestermike on Feb 18, 2010 11:13:30 GMT 1, why are people so intent on bringing this guy down, the same people on this forum who brought into dface, walker, micallef, faile the most original artists ever LOL! if it's a prank it's a prank if it isnt so what but people making out that he is so unoriginal pisses me off like dface prints from 2007 onwards(minus the wings) havent been a pastiche or rip off of warhol ie, pop tart, superman, cli che, lenticular and dog save the queen are equally rip offs of jamie reid and as for the whole skull thing we might as well say d ripped off hirst or insect or insect ripped off d, people are just saying what suits them, i like micallef but he went from doing amazing pieces like walk in harajuki to just doing loads of stuff with guns and cops so i guess he was ripping of banksy yeah and adam neate and his cubism his picasso homage he's sooo francis bacon and faile who just ripped off early americano comic cartoon imagery ala lichtenstien, this is 2010 people things are diffrent we've had two decades of the internet pirate radio is not as popular! things change and mr brainwash's success is a perfect example of what is possible in this day and age, all the artists mentioned above i love and own a piece from every single one but it's quite easy to find an angle to b***h about an artist which all these brainwash haters are doing stroking their chins at their parla's like some of his stuff isnt just one big overpriced jackson pollock homage but because he gives it fancy titles people are foaming at the mouth the guy that switched from ease to parla the man who said he was never going to do prints but when he had a few bum auction results and the watercolurs dropped in price low and behold parla prints surfaced and how much were they? £800.00 which is roughly about $1,300 dollars that much for a print at source how can parla charge more than banksy for his prints at source and about this brainwash guy being rich 50% of the urban artists in this scene are middle class anyway didnt shep go to some flash art school he's actually called frank fairey and im guessing kaws is from the ghetto yeah LOL! some of you guys are hypocrites
Jesus Christ!!
Paragraphs dude!! Punctuation, capitalisation, BREATHE!!
Mr Brainwash, Calvin Harris, whoever the fuck Carston Daily is, the word "haters" which isn't a word, everyone owning Shep works... word of warning don't do this thread for the first time on a hangover!!
As for Mr Brainwash... as a wise man once said "I'd rather sauté my own scrotum"

iPhone Killer, by manchestermike on Feb 11, 2010 17:44:10 GMT 1, I've got a HTC Magic and the new Blackberry Storm (Storm 2)
Both great phones, I'm not really fussed with games and rubbish like that on phones, just emails and calls, the Storm 2 is great for this. Bought the Magic first and I prefer it to the iPhone, but it just couldn't match the Blackberry for emails so had to get one of those. If you don't need it for work a lot go for the HTC

L.A. Version Signed Applause 4 Signed Napalm or BH, by manchestermike on Feb 11, 2010 10:19:48 GMT 1, I very much doubt you'll get it. Value wise Napalm is a chunk more than Applause. However I think in the flesh Napalm is definitely one of Banksy's worst, whereas Applause is one of the best, still think you'll have to add a wodge of cash to any deal
