well, I buy artworks of people or artists that are nice with me : I would never buy a Picasso to Picasso if this one after a dispute ( or not ) was selling one to

I agree with you mate, regarding buying from artist who are friendly and personable - it goes a long way! Unfortunately, Dran being the person he is, you have to deal with his representatives and agree, not the easiest people sometimes!!

As Microfluo stated in another thread, when he met Dran he was ultra sensitive about other people's opinion regarding his artworks.
He also should have been very disappointed when he saw his gifts to "collectors" being sold shortly after.
I think the whole Art World have hurted him.

I think the print looks great, but to me the Sprayed box is where the big price tag come into play. I'm not really prepared to take a chance with a 'lucky dip' artwork to be honest although the ones I have seen so far look great

It can be on sale for years and after someone posts about it here, it's gone within minutes/hours. |

And right now he is in a good place, he works well, quality pieces and regular shows. Will he ever be affiliated with a gallery? I think not. He was burnt a couple times and keeps a sour taste of this experience.
Now his management is what it is but he produces! I think the latest print is great, i think the clown before that was great. A huge step ahead brussels and POW prints quality
I dont think one can speculate on the artist because of the ups and downs but really, its always a pleasure to own a piece of him at home.

Recognition will probably come with posterity as he is such a talented artist.
